This was sent to the rescue facility from their wish list. They do great work on helping these birds. They need items sent so they can spend money on helping these birds.

Excellent activity for kids! At a birthday party, we set up an owl pellet dissection station. The older kids (4-5 year olds) found it most engaging, especially with parents getting excited about finding things as well. The bones are pretty small, but there were lots of vertebra, jaw bones, teeth, skull parts, etc., to be discovered. The pellets were clearly sanitized as they didn't smell at all.

I should’ve taken photos but if you’ve ever done owl pellets you know what to expect. If you haven’t this package comes with resources and each pellet is wrapped individually in foil. No smell. They look like hairballs with bones. Some had only a few bones others had tons, some with full skulls in tact! We had kids aged 3-10 doing these and they loved it! The one we bought had 20 medium pellets

This product comes with a bone sorting guide for students to identify and classify both the types of bones, as well as the animal they came from. Amazing experience for my students

Very small and not soaked in any sort of ammonia so idk how well they’ll b for dissection.

Most had a skull. I was surprised by the number of bones for such a small size.

My classes loved these. I was concerned that they were small, but they were full of bones. Really from rodents. We did not find any birds.

Purchased these for my science classroom. All of them had rodents, and a lot of fur. no birds or weird animals. When the kids put them together only about 4 had complete skeletons. the rest had random bones. or multiple skull pieces. Wish all the kids had experienced putting together the whole skeleton.
