Came with everything needed for the repair (screwdriver and pry tool). The repair was straightforward. When my laptop was new, I could get around 11-12 hours of battery life in power saving mode with the OEM battery. After replacing this battery I charged it up and drained it down to 5% while recording the battery-reported state and discharge rate. I got a 9:29 discharge time and 68.7 Wh total energy. My OEM battery was 5 years old and was only lasting me 2-3 hours when I replaced it. I wish I did this replacement sooner. Great performance and great price.

It does the job. It fits my Acer Aspire One. Like every aftermarket battery I've been through with this laptop it's a little bigger and makes the computer sit a little taller. Despite being a bigger battery than the original, it doesn't perform better. The original was rated at about four hours, but only ran for three. This usually lasts for about two. The original died after four years. This one lasted only one and a half years. Aftermarket batteries for this computer (I've been through a few) typically last about two years, for me, which makes the longevity on this one a little less than average but not my worst purchase. How do you know if your battery has reached the end of its life? I'm amazed at how many different ways my computer behaves when a battery goes bad. It's been a little different each time: -Computer produces a notification telling me it's bad -Computer repeatedly beeps as though it were being plugged and unplugged. -Battery indicator light flashes, orange. -Computer drops dead at what was supposedly 50% charge. Yeah, I've been through a few batteries for this computer. So, this one has performed near average for aftermarket batteries, which is not quite as good as the original battery, despite looking like it should be twice as good.

I bought this for my old HP Elitebook 840. I didn't buy the cheapest one, to get the best chance of success. The battery worked for a bit (1 week), but then my computer started acting very strangely, locking up and not responding. Start up was slow. I tried to troubleshoot, thought it might be an app, virus or other background process, but was unsuccessful. I finally googled the problem, and the suggestion was that the new battery was unstable. I verified by shutting down, removing battery, and restarting on plug power only. Sure enough, all back to speedy normal. So NO, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BATTERY.

Normally I do not give battery reviews, because right after buying a battery, you cannot gauge whether or not a battery is good or not. You have to give it months and upto a year to discover if the battery even will hold up to the test of time. So far so good, it's been over a year, and this battery has been mostly used in a laptop that's been in storage mostly. So he test of prolonged battery storage of inactive use.. This battery did great. My Inspiron 16 7567 is holding up with about 2hrs of play time before needing to recharge.
