Can someone tell me the location of the switch? Thanks.

The switch is at the top of the lamp, directly behind the shade.

How big is the metal cover for the light/bulb, dimensions would be great!?

Inside dimensions 8"L X 5"W X 3¼". We use a 17watt LED bulb, 150watt compatable, 3000 Lumens. A nice set up.»

is the cord clear? thanks!

No, the cord on mine is black. I think it is better than the garish, clear, orangey cords I saw on some brass lamps, though.

How long is the power cable?

The power cord measures 73" from base of lamp to outlet plug.
