It takes all of the cuticle and you don't need to force it, it's also very sharp.

It needs to be sharper
Generally speaking it's a good product, as Mundial is a very good manufacturer. The only thing is that I found it not sharpened enough and the handles a bit too tight. If I was living in Brazil, or any other country that regularly has professionals to sharpen cuticle nippers that wouldn't be an issue. However in the UK such service doesn't exist.
