I bought this to help wash small items of clothing. Our washer had a problem and I needed to do a little laundry to get by. I also want to be able to take this camping with me, just in case. As a salad spinner, I think it would be great. As a laundry spinner, it worked as I expected. Not the best, but it worked for me and that is what counts. What I liked especially was the metal bowl It has a fairly flat bottom, with a non slip lining/cover. That helped when swishing clothes around and when I went to spin it. The basket is not as sturdy as I would like, so that is a concern for the longevity of this. The lid too, feels like it might not last as long as the bowl portion of this. I liked the design of the lid, how it has clamps on the side, and I think the spinning knob is good. I think if it's well cared for, and not abused, and used judiciously, it should last a good long time. There was a $9 coupon for this, bringing the price down to about $20, so for the price, it was worth it. It won't be used for any vegetation though, but I am sure it would be just fine. As a clothes spinner, I know it won't get anything as good as a real washing machine, but hey, my expectations are in line with what I know it can do, so for that, it's perfect. I feel it was worth the cost, even if I didn't have the coupon, which was why I gave it 5 stars.

Wonderful. Saved me time having to dry lettuce by hand, and I was even able to wash and dry mushrooms quickly so they didn't absorb water from washing. I used them in a recipe and they were firm and not soggy. The product is well made and worth the money.

I used it once. Works real good. Gets most of the moisture off the lettuce. There is a strange hole in the lid that you must keep your finger out of as your spinning your lettuce. If not you will get hurt. I should have bought a cheaper one.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I sent a different one back that had a green cover but it wouldn’t spin good and scraped the sides of the bowl. This came with extra bowl clips. The basket fits better in the bowl. Seems very durable and it’s good quality. I stuck it in the dishwasher to clean it before using.

This salad spinner is excellent quality. Very well made. The lid locks down and the spinner knob can be removed if the lid needs cleaning. The lid comes with 2 spare lock clips incase the ones attached are damaged during shipping. It may be slightly costly, but to me, with the quality, it is worth it and I am very pleased. Plus I will not need to purchase another salad spinner for myself.

Wow!!a really nice size,not only can you wash lettuce ,it's the perfect salad bowl.I wish it came with a lid to seal it when you use the bowl to make a salad in it. It's a beautiful salad spinner, my favorite.

OK, this is a great stainless steel salad spinner. I use this for spin drying my moringa leaves when I process them. It’s very durable strong and it works perfect for what I’m doing. I think it’s a great product RCH.

I now have 4 Salad spinners. By far this is my favorite as it is the only one that has a crank to spin rather that a pump type which makes it much easier to spin the water out. Very economical but still works great.
