The air in my city is very bad. I have bought air filters in IKEA. They have their own sensors but I wanted to check what is the real air quality inside my home. On my balcony, the AQI is 120 and inside my home is 29 to 35. I’m glad that filters make a big difference and I’m also very satisfied how this air quality meter react. When I put meter back on the balcony, it shows again 120 which corresponds with values measured on the weather channels like AccuWeather. If the device is not 100% accurate, doesn’t matter, the air quality in my home is at least four times better than outside.

I wanted to make sure that my home was not actually making the symptoms any worse so decided to check by purchasing an air monitor. This one had good reviews and was reasonably priced. It arrived quickly and took minutes to set up right out of the box. I also like the stand that came with it and the fact it has a magnetic back, so it can be placed on a fridge or filing cabinet if needed. I wanted something easy and simple to read, and this has just what I needed, temp, humidity, air quality index and particle measurements. Within a few days I had readings for all major rooms, and fortunately all were good. It was comforting to know that the air inside my house was good and not making the symptoms worse. A great little unit.
