McCormick Cream Of Tartar, 1.5 oz (Pack of 6)

McCormick seasoning. It a good reliable, constant product. The only unknown. Is Amazon or their partner going to deliver if fresh with the best if used by date not passed. In my case it was, so I will continue to buy these products on line. If I start getting products that have "expired" dates, then I would not by these on line . So keep them fresh or I'll give any product a one star rating.

To be honest, I've never used Cream of Tartar before and had no idea why I would ever need to. Since it's been so many years since I have been able to cook, I have been refreshing my memory with recipes and finding several new ones I want to try. Obviously, I need all new spices! But I didn't have to replace my Cream of Tartar since I never had it in the first place. After some research, I wondered how I ever got along without it. Obviously, I had never made meringue before, or a lot of other sweet dishes. I trust McCormick as one of the main suppliers of spices. They make good, fresh products, and if it's a product I will not be using often, I have the option of purchasing a smaller size bottle. I really appreciate that fact. The baking ability of this is of course perfect and since I can buy the smaller size, it makes it a great value since I won't be throwing away half a bottle when it goes bad or out of date. This is the perfect product in the perfect size.

I needed cream of tartar for baking. I chose McCormick because of the quality and brand reputation. When you can’t get to the store, ordering on Amazon is so convenient. Most of the time it comes the next day. I used this for macarons and they came out perfect!

This is excellent! I use this when I make my homemade biscuits. I can make homemade yeast rolls ,but biscuits were not my best . When I add this to my recipe the biscuits rise ,are crisp, light and airy . It's the best value and brand for the money !

I am thrilled to find it at Amazon and even though every recipe doesn't ask for it when you want it you want it! I live in a rural area and going to the store is a trip. My most recent reason was in a substitute for baking powder. This combination of cream of tartar and baking soda worked perfectly in my chocolate banana bread!
