The mic to end all mics
Great style, Great performance - I've been using it very regularly for a long time nowGator Lock offers a 'quick lock' style adapter that I use with this mic so that I can take it off of the stand as needed with a simple movement - not a 12 thread unscrew.Otherwise, quality mic, no issues.Wouldn't mind doing a full review for the company.

Great Microphone for Ham Radio
Been looking for a microphone with balanced sound for my HF ham radio communications and, quite to my surprise, this CAD A77 beat several others costing much more.I've been into ham radio for 50 years and like my HF SSB audio to have an FM quality, and this CAD A77 fits my voice best out of all others I've tried. But everyone's voice is different and, like shoes, you have to find the right microphone fit.One of my other favorite microphones, an Electrovoice EV27, is a great mic...but on air tests tell me the less expensive CAD A77 sounds better, to me, on my voice. But all mics need some equalization to sound their best and, fortunately, my HF radio has an internal equalizer to dial in a microphone. And, so far, the CAD A77 is the one to beat!

Again it is a hot microphone one that you would want to stay in back from.
This is a hot microphone, so please stand back when you use it. It is wonderful for 50s and 60s music also blues.

when E.Q'ed correctly , sound great
I have always liked CAD mics . I got this one to where I like by using a 'dbx go-Rack' . Running this mic through a preamp with your normal e.q like compression /high/ mid and low features you have a chance at making it sound really good . When you're at this price range , you have to find a mic that matches your voice . It's about what it's being plugged into as well, if you use a bose L-1 , or similar, I think its worth a try .This mic is not as heavy as it's contenders and won't pull a 'boom mic stand' down when used at an angle. I had the best luck singing right up on it as well .

Great for photo shoots.
I never plug it to test the quality. I think I will soon. It's great for props. Looks cool too.

Five stars!
I connected this mic through a homebrew preamplifier to my IC-7300 amateur radio transceiver and it works quite well. It's a nice addition to my collection of microphones.

A77 High End Mic
It looks and feels good. Audio quality is very good with plenty amplitude. This is a Low Z mike and I require High Z, so an impedance transformer installed inline.
