The cards' colors are bold, rich, and pop against the black border making the images appear more clear. They're beautiful. The cards shuffle as smooth as silk. As with other Wyspell tarot guidebooks, this deck's guidebook is very useful containing practical and helpful information for learning the RWS deck. Included are six tarot spreads; color pictures for each card; ample useful keywords and associated meanings for each card; and, quick reference pages for each suit and their cards. I have a beginners tarot deck that has the meanings on the cards but I wanted a basic deck without the meanings so that I can start to practice with my training wheels off (so to speak). I think this deck is great for what you're paying. It's not the highest quality deck I own but it is exactly what I was looking for. I won't be heartbroken if I wear or damage these cards and I know that I will be getting plenty of use out of this deck.

Love these cards. They’re beautiful and sturdy. I like that they have the box to keep them in. The only downside is that they’re not easy to shuffle due to the thickness/sturdiness. I would still recommend them though!

Good starter deck! This is my very first and it’s going great. Box came intact and in good condition. Very easy to use in my opinion. I believe this is definitely worth the money especially if you’re just getting started with tarot.

I purchased this deck by Wyspell to replace one that was missing a card. I initially planned to reorder from the same manufacturer, but that version was about $10 more, so I decided to give this one a try. The cards are a decent weight, though they lack the smooth, satin finish of my original EA Games Rider-Waite deck—which, for reference, has lasted nearly 20 years and still feels silky. Because of that difference, I suspect this deck will show wear faster with regular use. When comparing the decks side by side, the color differences are noticeable. In my original EA Games deck, The Hanged Man and Page of Cups both have the same grayish background. However, in this Wyspell version, The Hanged Man has a brownish background, while The Page of Cups is still grayish, like it's supposed to be. I haven’t checked every card yet, but this stood out immediately since The Hanged Man definitely shouldn’t have a brown background. If you already know the Rider-Waite symbolism and don’t rely on color cues for interpretation, this deck is a solid and affordable choice. However, if you’re a beginner learning through the traditional imagery—or if you’re a frequent reader who handles cards often—this version might not hold up as well over time compared to higher-quality decks. Pros: •Vibrant, eye-catching colors •Affordable price compared to other versions •Decent card weight •Suitable for experienced readers familiar with Rider-Waite symbolism Cons: •Lacks satin finish; will wear quickly •Some color inconsistencies (e.g., The Hanged Man background) •Not ideal for beginners (I am a professional reader, doing daily readings and events 2x/month or more)

I am just learning the spiritual practice of tarot and have enjoyed this as my first deck. The cards are pretty large to shuffle but otherwise are beautiful

Cards are crisp. Wish it came in a nicer box but cards themselves are great. Many of the Minor arcana cards don’t have their names on the cards, which is fine, will just require more memorization of the cards. Guidebook is helpful for beginners but do your own exploration into meanings as well!
