Feels thin compared to other USGI surplus pouches. Buckles feel cheap. I would only recommend this if you need woodland to complete your loadbearing gear.

It is a great addition to an alice pack to accommodate more gear. The draw cord is very heavy-duty so much it a tad difficult to open up but that's a good thing as this bag is mad to last. All in all the quality is top notch.

It lacks the versatility of a modern "buttpack" but does its job very nicely and hooks to an ALICE rig very nicely. I keep my messkit and other personal items in it on a hike and I can even strap an extra coat to the bottom of it.

My husband likes this bag allot, lots of room for a small bag. Well made, very strong and great for hunters, backpacking and most outdoor enthusiasts.

Got it fast and it works very good. Tough nylon.
