These come out nicely cooked all the way thru. Other brands will burn on bottom and not be cooked In middle. Plus these taste great.

Lovely crescent rolls plain or with fillings. Be creative. Sometimes I put baking chocolate chips into the crescents for a morning treat to have with coffee. For Valentine’s Day, I am making “pizza rosettes”: crescent rolls turned into roses with pizza filling and cheese on top. I am cooking peppers, onions, garlic, mushrooms, and pepperoni into a premium pizza sauce, thickening it, and lightly spreading a bit on top. I then top with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, and bake as directed. This is as good as it gets, but not absolutely perfect if you want something freshly baked and you do not mind the heat-and-serve approach. Sure, Mom’s rolls are sweeter, but these are nice too. You can always put a bit of sugar in the rolls as you put them together. You can also squeeze a tiny bit of honey on top when they are done baking. This will make them even more appealing. There are cookbooks by Pillsbury and other authors. Some recipe sites feature nice recipes you can use. Only limited by your imagination. These will last in your refrigerator for a while, and you can have them plain or with butter and garlic at dinner, or plain or baked with cinnamon brown sugar inside, or marmalade at breakfast if you do not want the chocolate. Yummy. These are flaky and light. It is worth having them on hand. These are easy to use and an excellent value for sure. The texture is a bit pouffy and a bit flaky, but more like a roll than a pastry unless you dress them up. These are not too large or plain; they are just a fist-sized serving, or, for a bigger appetite, you might add to that. Enjoy!

Easy to make! Are they the best tasting rolls you have ever had…probably not… but quick baking and clean up is a plus!
