It works! Quick & Easy
Installation was extremely easy. Literally, just plug in the adapter in the car's USB port and the rest is happening automatically. You just allow the connection when the message pops on the car screen and that's it! Such a difference experience between wired and wireless connection. It's amazing!

Disconnects intermittently
It was good initially, connected fast and worked as expected. After one month of use, it has started disconnecting randomly. This is super inconvenient and dangerous because I lose Waze directions as I'm driving.

Fast Connection with Mini Ultra – Finally Wireless CarPlay That Just Works!
I picked up this Autobox Version 2-in-1 Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Adapter to use in my Mini Cooper with factory-wired CarPlay, and I’m seriously impressed. The quick connection is the standout feature — within seconds of starting the car, my phone is wirelessly connected and ready to go. No delays, no dropped connections.I’m using it with an iPhone and also tested it with an Android device, and it switches between them flawlessly. Setup took less than a minute — just plug it into the USB port, pair your phone once, and you’re done. The device remembers your phone and reconnects automatically every time. The compact size is a big bonus. It barely takes up any space and looks clean — not bulky like some older adapters. I also like that it doesn’t overheat or cause lag with music or navigation apps.Just be aware that it’s not compatible with BMW or Tesla, but for most other factory-wired CP/AA systems, this works like a charm.⸻✅ Pros:• Super fast and reliable connection• Works great with both iPhone (CarPlay) and Android (Android Auto)• Compact and clean design• Easy plug-and-play setup• No lag or connection drops⚠️ Cons:• Not compatible with BMW or Tesla

Poor, inconsistent performance.
Bought this thing to connect a Samsung S24 Ultra to a Subaru Crosstrek & it works maybe one time out of five. Of the remainder, sometimes I can get it to work by unplugging it & plugging it back in a time or three or opening up Bluetooth on my phone & manually connecting to it a few times, but mostly it never connects and nothing I can do brings it back. I've tried putting my phone directly next to the adapter, turning Bluetooth off & on, restarting my phone (When did Google decide I didn't want a power button & instead wanted a button that summons their useless assistant?), unpairing & repairing the adapter, clearing out saved Android Auto connections, uninstalling Android Auto updates & redownloading them, as well as turning my car off & cranking it back up, nothing seems to reliably resolve the issue. I'd return it but had to shred the packaging to get it out.
