Is Shortcake the same as Shortbread?

Yes. Peek Freans are shortbread cookies although not nearly as buttery as I prefer (like Walkers shortbread).

How many cookies in package?

There are two packets of 12 cookies in each box, for a total of 24 cookies.

How many boxes of cookies is this for ? Surely not just one at this exorbitant price ?

Oh yes just one, they are originally from England but I think these are from Canada.

What are the ingredients?

I purchased these cookies quite awhile ago and did not save the box so I am not sure what the ingredients are. I do know they did not have high fructose corn syrup in them. They were very delicious but very pricey for the small box sent.

Delicious cookies!

I usually get some type of a chocolate or chocolate chip cookie. I remember these from 50 years ago when I lived in Montreal. Was so excited to see them on Amazon! They’re amazing!
