Looney Labs The Gore Years: Chrononauts Exp

Appropriate for all age groups, except for the very youngest, perhaps they may not be old enough to recognise some of the events. It is a game that where you cannot lose interest because of all the variations of the rules.

This expansion does nothing, but to add years closer to home to the Game. The game is absolutely no different with the expansion in play, it's just nice to have newer years, and since the expansion is not expensive, all in all it's a good buy.

Expensive for what it is.

We played Chrononauts at some friends and fell in love with the game and we just had to extent the timeline after 1999. We ordered The Gore Years from Game Stack through Amazon (great service from both sides) and even if it was just a few more cards it added the same fun we had with the game until now. The ones familiar with the basic game should feel right at home with the extension as it has the same good graphics and mechanics as Chrononauts. So many evenings spent going back and forth through time... we only wait now for the prequel extension to come, Early Americans and we'll have one huge timeline to mess with!

Interesting expansion to the Chrononauts universe.

Whoops! I wrote the review for this under the "Lost Identities" purchase! Oh Well! I'll review "Lost Identities" here. It's more time-trailers to add to the Chrononauts card game with no expansion to the timeline. New missions are also added. It's fun!

This is a great expansion pack! I wish they would offer more! Hopefully in the next few years they can do another one with the more recent 2000s years so we can continue expanding our pack!

This really helps bring the timeline for Chrononauts up to the present. The last 10 years of massive world events was really missing, like a void, from the original game. Probably the best expansion you can get. And cheap.

Even more fun to add to the base game.

It's a great addition to the game. The only thing you should be careful with is which identities you put into the game. If you keep it too broad, the later years might have to effect.
