Cables give you that same consistent tension throughout the movement, but bands don't work that way. So if you're doing pullups or back exercises, that variable resistance can feel a bit awkward at first because the tension keeps changing through the range of motion. Took me a little getting used to. BUT — for pushups, pike pushups, triceps, biceps and forearm work? Absolute game changer. It adds just the right amount of resistance and the variable tension actually feels really natural for those movements. Seriously one of the best tools for upper body home workouts.
