Question 1

country of origin?

Accepted Answer

The bottle does not give this information!!!!! All is says is "distributed by Swanson........". Don't know if Swanson can give you that info since it's not printed on the bottle-Swanson is reputable distributor but I know on some of this "herbal" stuff, it's buyer beware. Now, I can tell you that I have ordered this 3 times for my husband that has cardiovascular dementia and scar tissue from brain surgery, and while I didn't see a big change when I put him on it, I do notice a difference when he is off of it!!!!!(waiting for our order). He just seems a bit more focused, able to comprehend and communicate just a bit better. I will continue to keep this part of my husband's "help".

Question 3

Is the mycelium grown on grain or via deep-layer liquid cultivation? Deep-layer = pure mycelium, while on-grain = mostly worthless grain.

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer’s literature states it is Hericium erinaceus mycelium biomass.
I could not find anything in their literature about “on-grain” or “deep-layer liquid cultivation”.

Question 4

is cognatol any good

Accepted Answer

Yes, I took most of the bottle before I noticed any difference. I see a chiropractor regularly, he does muscle testing for ALL supplements I take, he recommended 3 caps, 2 times per day. I get distracted with my daily duties, so I only take the 3 in the morning. I'm purchasing more today, and I'm going to put some of the powder on our foods.
