This has done excellent with holding every long gun I have for cleanings, mounting optics, and general firearm maintenance. Does a great job of keeping cleaning supplies and tools organized. The handle is a bit awkward since it’s off-center and tend to make the carrier tip unevenly, but it hasn’t given out and spilled anything out of the carrier yet. Still, I’m completely satisfied with it and now save me tons of time with offering a steady hold of what I’m working on.

This is a great rifle workstation, it’s very simple it’s not really expensive but it’s a very nice workstation I’m very happy with it I use it quite often it has indentations down in the tray area where you can put your bottles of cleaner and oil if you choose it has areas to put little screws for when you’re mounting a scope or something like that it’s a great little stand and it’s very easy to clean if you spill oil or solvent in it it comes with a carrying handle and the upright pieces slide out of the top and snap into the bottom on the underside so you don’t lose them it’s a great case and for the money you cannot get anything better yet you can spend hundreds of dollars on extremely fancy Stands that you don’t need This is a definite must have for anyone who has even just one rifle whatever size it may be to hold it while you clean it and run your pushrods through with your cleaning patches and oil, you will not be disappointed with this product from this supplier, two thumbs up!

I'm in to year 5 with mine and it is like new. It gets a lot of use from my powder burners and air rifles and pistols occasionally. Cleaning / Scope and Dot mounting/ bore sighting ... It's a must.

It arrived on time, came in a box big enough to fit for two with no padding. However, it's plastic is just flexable enough that it shouldn't crack during transport, so it's fine. There are 3 stickers. One on the front, the back, and one inside. We all know how how difficult they can be to remove without heat gun, goo gone, and a plastic razor scraper, BUT these are vinyl stickers and all these peel off with no issue whatsoever. That's awesome, because cheap paper stickers can downright get me to remove stars on a product. So we have a sturdy, light weight product that arrived on time. Now for my gripe. The product comes with 2 cupholder section, but these are for tiny bottles. No CLP arisol can will fit it unless it's really thin like Butane for refillable lights. You can stick small bottles of lube in there, that will fit, but you can't even fit a water bottle in one of the. This is why if you look at the photo it shows the arisol can in the big section. I was hoping I could put my Lucas can in a slot. The golder diameter is only 2 3/8" whereas a water bottle and regular spray can is 2 1/2". I think they could hace easily add mthat extra 1/8th of an inch diameter to accomedate CLP or water bottle. Another little gripe I have is the handle in the center isn't balanced. This really isn't a problem if you just intend to just keep it on your workbench, as you won't be toting around then. The price for this should be under $20 in my opinion bassed on the the two problems with it, but it's alright. I just think if you're going to charge someone $30 for this, they sould at least balance it, and make the cupholders wide enough to fit a spray can, ior water bottle.

It is what it is, very sturdy, works well on many different styled rifles, great for mounting scopes and cleaning rifles, would recommend this, very good product.

Technically, the Gun Butler is a gun cradle, not a gun vise. That is, you can place a rifle into the upright holders, but there are no screw-down clamps to make the gun unmovable in the cradle. However, for cleaning my very short (30 inch total length) and light youth model .22 rifle, the Gun Butler does work as a gun vise, holding the rifle immobile so that both hands are free to manipulate cleaning equipment. To achieve that immobility, I clamp the Gun Butler base onto a work table. The 2 V-slotted uprights into which the rifle fits finish the job of making the gun immobile. Those V-slots are fairly deep and steep and are lined with a fairly thick, non-slipping, rubber like material, which does a good job of gripping the stock firmly when the stock is pressed down into the V-slotted uprights. By the way, I was somewhat concerned that the distance between the 2 V-slotted uprights might be too great to grab the short stock of the youth model rifle at both ends of the stock, but that wasn't a problem. Stock ends just barely reach the 2 V-slots. The one issue I had with the Gun Butler when I first got it was trying to figure out how to remove the 2 V-slotted uprights from their horizontal resting places in the Gun Butler's base. There's a small tab to push on the inside of the base to release the uprights. It took a few minutes to figure that out, and the uprights then came out easily. Two labels at the appropriate spots on the base, "Push here to release uprights," would have been helpful. But that's a small quibble. The very affordable Gun Butler does exactly the job I need it to do. I'm completely satisfied.

LOVE it! I use it for cleaning my rifle in the living room while hanging out with my wife. I use it for cleaning my rifle on Match day. It allows me to carry all my cleaning tools in one place. The forks hold my rifle securely while cleaning and also holds my rifle well while doing things like changing scopes and other light gunsmithing. AND, it was less expensive through Amazon than my local WalMart-and I didn’t have to wait in line as I won’t use the self-checkout 😉

I got this so I could work on my outdoor tools! It holds my utensil, while I unscrew an unmount scope, and then proceeded to mount the new one. I also had to do some cleaning on the utensil and switch out a stock which will be done in the future. This is a simple, cheap venture rest that does it all. It holds my tools underneath my utensil while I’m working on it and everything is easy to find as long as I am organized lol. This is a great tool to have for working in your outdoor utensils. ( my wording is different so the review doesn’t get flagged)

Suite a la recherche d'un bon support lors de l'entretien de mes carabines. Le tipton butler est clairement le choix beau, bon, ''pas chère''. Les modules en ''v'' ont un caoutchouc assez épais ce qui protège l'intégrité du manche et de la crosse. Il sert de coffre pour les produits de nettoyage, facile a transporter et a laver en cas de déversement de produit pour nettoyer le récipient c'est simple comme bonjour . Les montures se range dans les endroits prévu a cet effet dans sa base! Aucunement déçu bon produit!
