My other half Cycles to work every day, 5 days a week and needs to have extra support as he gets Varicous veins and this can cause significant discomfort. So hes been having to wear briefs for years since his diagnosis. So when I heard about Boxer Briefs being a thing (dont judge me, I just thought they were fancy boxers) I decided to have a good look around and find a decent brand that would support him and stop the rubbing that comes with the stresses of cycling daily.After scouring the many, many listings on Amazon, I find the Step One brand of boxer briefs. They look alright and after looking into the description and reviews, seemed to suggest that they would be good for my other half and his specific needs.Now I was on the fence when I looked at the price. I honestly almost left it there at that point, not wanting to effectively waste a considerable amount of money on one pair of these things (I could buy multi-packs in supermarkets for less probably). There was the added risk of my particularly picky Fiancé who is not the easiest to convince to try something new. But, then I read that the company will accept a return on your first purchased pair if you are not happy with them, even if you have worn them!So I take the plunge and buy a pair, which are named Juicy Plums (giggles all round from me, I know I am an immature woman) and after they arrive I present them to HRH letting him know that he should at least try them because he has nothing to lose and that I’ll be able to get my money back if he doesn’t like them.He smirks at them but gives them a try. “They’re comfortable” he says. Good sign, but hes not ridden in them yet, so I tell him to give them a wear while cycling and so he does.Long story short: I have since brought 5 more pairs for him as he likes them so much and may have to consider throwing a lot of old briefs away.As a side note, you can wash these at 30 in your machine and can tumble dry them too. So far I haven’t seen any shrinkage or damage from any of the pairs I have brought.

It brings the separation needed to deal with sweat and discomfort. Just ran a half marathon yesterday wearing these and they were really comfortable the whole time. No rubbing, pinching, just cradling. Some report problems with the sizing of the pouch, but this is simply a case of selecting the right size. Step one were really helpful in this process. Personally, i went for a small size as i prefer the fitted, ‘everything staying put’ feel. The sizing chart is very helpful.* Material - Really soft and comfortable to wear. No seams in awkward places calling for all-day adjustments* Branding - Prefer the name to other brands that are somewhat less tasteful. That could be just me* Colours available - Just so many to choose from.* Customer service - This has been fantastic. I was hesitant to spend the money, so asked lots of questions. They responded quickly and were very helpful. When I ordered the wrong size, they very helpful.* Cost - Yes, they are more expensive but this is a long-term investment, so buy in bulk and get the discount.* Ultraglyde panels - I ordered trunks due to my thin legs, so this feature was not so important to me however i completely see how this could work very well.I have purchased 12 pairs as a result. I'm really impressed with these STEP ONE Men’s Trunks. They’re extremely comfortable, with a breathable material that keeps your boys cool all day. As a larger guy (6'5", 2XL), I often have trouble finding boxers that fit well, but these are spot on! They offer the right amount of stretch and support without feeling too tight. Extremely comfortable, keeps everything in place without gimmicks, don't ride up, no aggravation thanks to its anti-chafe design. Not perfectly sweat-free in the latest heat wave, but you've got to be realistic. My only reflection is that the waist band is quite snug (not uncomfortably so); I'm 38-40 waist so bought XL. I've tried other brands - SAXX, All Citizens, Ex Officio, Uniqlo Airism - and these beat all of those hands-down for comfort.

So, they are a good fit, comfy, wick well and as a result feel cooler than a cotton equivalent, but the most important quality is that the legs don't ride up anywhere near as much as other boxers of similar ilk do! No more awkwardly trying to pull the legs back down in public!!I am however unsure as to how resilient they will be as they feel so thin that I am afraid I might put a finger through them when pulling them on! Probably an unfair assessment as I haven't done that yet, only time will tell if they are resilient enough to last the distance!Would I buy them again? I might when my bank account enables me, they are high quality trunks!

First and the most important - the size is smaller than you think so if you're in between the sizes, go for larger one.The quality of the underwear itself is nice, I really like the fabric between my thighs that prevents rubbing; very useful for a dudes with thick thighs. I holds the treasure intact and support the cherries. After ordering few pairs from their website in a larger size I was really happy with them but due to being unable to exchange this pair and basically loosing almost £15 I am taking the rating down.

Step One underwear are light and very comfortable.They are true to their word when they say the underwear wicks moisture away. You don't even notice you are wearing underwear. That's how comfortable they are. I highly recommend them.
