Could you please provide a proximity driver for this card reader? one of the customers mentioned what it's compatible with windows 10 proximity api.

Please ask Sony for the polling_usb.exe tool which allows you to control the Reader.

As long as you have Software on your Mac yes it will work. I use nfc tools, but I'm not sure they have a Mac version

業務用だが、電化製品量販店で購入した、SONY RC-S380 個人用と遜色なくwindowsのパソコンで使える。 RC-S300もでているが、ドライバーも同じだし、新しいものがすぐでる。e-TAXなどのマイナンバーカードを使った操作では、特に問題はない。

Perfect for Linux authentication

I would recommend this to anyone looking to use it for authentication. I have an nfc implant that I use on a daily basis to unlock my Linux workstation. It took a bit of research but I eventually found a Python script that can be used to read tag serial numbers.

Awful support, worse software

Support documents mention software that is "included" but absolutely was not. The documentation on their website is worse that useless. The sdk doesn't work properly on windows 10. There is no help for linux, even though they supposedly have example code, that code is no where to be found. Get a cheaper reader, I'm sure it will have better support.

This is impossible to get up and running and not worth the googling and GitHub searching just to get your yubikey to work. Money better spent on NFT's.
