Golden pine stain
I applied the very runny solution with a paint brush onto bare sanded wood. It dries very very quickly. The colour was a matt golden pine finish as I wanted. The furniture will last another 20 years.

Rubbish. Might as well use strong tea. After application, you couldn't really tell the difference between the stained and unstained wood.
