If the light is installed with the charging port in an accessible location, it can be charged on the wall. An extra-long USB cable, or extension cord would also be required.

I don't think that rechargeable batteries are made to be replaced. They are made so they can be recharged by plugging them into the circuit in your home. I recharge mine about once a week.
