Perfect fit and they look amazing
Edit: I mentioned initially that the boots squeak but it isnโt that bad and talcum powder helps. That helps for like 5 minutes and these squeak a lot and really loud where itโs noticeable when youโre walking. However they donโt have to squeak and fixing the squeak is actually very easy. Put some saddle soap around the tongue and inner part of the boots behind the eyelets where itโs a smoother leather from the tongue. Use a damp paper towel to rub in some saddle soap until thereโs a light lather. Then use a dry paper towel to wipe the excess away. I did this a couple weeks ago and it completely fixes the problem. These boots are now perfect and well worth the price. Honestly they feel like much more expensive boots. I highly recommend them. I just got these boots in the mail and they are amazing. Super soft and comfortable. They fit perfectly and I love that they have a side zipper to assist with getting them on/off. They are contoured to the foot so when I first tried to put them on I thought they were going to be a little tight, but they aren't. They are much lighter than I expected for such a sturdy boot with a lot of padding inside. I don't know how waterproof they are as I haven't worn them out yet. I love the look/design of them and the color (I got the dark brown). I liked these so much that I just ordered another pair in black. These are the same quality as boots I've paid a lot more money for. I couldn't recommend these enough. Edit: I wanted to add in that yes they squeak out of the box. A little talcum powder between the tongue and sides goes a long way to reduce the squeaking though. I've had many different boots in the past and they all squeak at first but usually wear in after a few days and get less noisy. It's just the fake leather material rubbing together. A little powder reduces the friction which helps.

Great bang for buck boots.
These boots legit surprised me. I was expecting $30 footwearโie industrially-produced Chinese cookie-cutter knockoffs of a higher grade American or European brand/model with dodgy quality control and lesser quality materials. But I needed boots on a budget sooner than next paycheck. To my pleasant surprise, these boots checked all the boxes: โ๏ธstyle โ๏ธquality โ๏ธversatility โ๏ธcomfortable Iโve only had them a few weeks so though theyโre still in like new condition, I canโt yet speak to their longevity. But given their sturdy leather build, Iโm counting on having these at least until next summer. They have an inner ankle zipper that makes them a cinch to get in and out of and as a guy with size 14 feet, thatโs not always as easy as it seems to guys with more โnormallyโ sized feet. I had to attend a court case recently but had to be at work installing a garage door before that. Shine em down just a smidge, make sure the bottom hem of your pants are un-bloused and these combat boots transform into dress shoes. One of my most worthwhile purchases on Amazon.

Order a 1/2 size smaller
The size ran a little big. I ordered and returned the size I would get in all the shoes I wear (10.5). I re-ordered a 1/2 size smaller, and they were perfect. They are nice-looking boots and appear to be of good quality. Only time and wear will tell.

Nice boots for the money
I bought these just as a nice winter/fall "dressed up" boot. Have had them for a few months but only worn maybe 10-15 times, so can't speak to the durability. For the money they seem like solid quality and they're very stylish considering, again, cost. They are more than comfy enough to wear all day but I'm not sure they would hold up very well to hard work/hiking/etc., they do feel a tad flimsy compared to a good pair of work boots, but is to be expected for the price. Definitely a "mall crawler" type piece if you catch my drift but that's more or less what I bought them for so no complaints on that front. They were VERY squeaky in the upper when I first got them, but a quick "sanding" of the bits that rub together with a dryer sheet and haven't heard a peep out of them since. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, just be sure to manage expectations relative to price. These are certainly no replacement for red wings or even timberlands, but if that's what you're looking for, you should be expecting to pay a lot more than 50 bucks.

Nice looking, BUT...really cheap!!!
First off, I really wasn't expecting too much from such cheap boots from Amazon. These lasted me about as long as I had expected based off other reviews. I gently wore these nearly everyday for about 6 months before they started falling apart; I didn't do any hard work in these & didn't get them wet either other than walking on slightly damp ground/pavement occasionally, so depending on how you wear them, they'll likely only last you a few months if that. I'll just say this though, they really do look amazing right out of the box (aside from the synthetic chemical smell & squeaky sound that fades after a week or two) but unfortunately, it doesn't take long for the pleather to start wrinkling & peeling from normal wear. Also, the metal eyelets don't have a smooth finish on the inside, so the little metal burrs slowly cut away at the shoe strings; I went through 3 sets of strings in 6 months. The soles are simply glued to the boots instead of stitched, so they began separating after a couple months; I immediately squirted some super glue into the gaps as soon as I noticed them beginning to form in order to make these last longer. However, eventually the soles themselves started splitting open on the bottom due to being made of such poor quality rubber & that's when I stopped wearing them; my feet would get wet just walking on a slightly damp ground with the holes forming in the soles. My biggest complaint is the lack of tread from the get-go; the bottoms are just slightly bumpy & kind've random, almost as if they were just melted with a textured iron or something & that wears down flat pretty quick. The best things I can say about these are, they're really nice looking (at first) the zipper is handy & held up well, they're also fairly comfortable & fit well. To summarize: if you're looking for a really nice looking cheap pair of boots to wear occasionally for pictures, to an interview, or with a costume then these are a decent deal. On the other hand, if you're looking for a good, durable, functional, everyday boot then you'll definitely need to look elsewhere. Don't even think about working in these things...they wouldn't last a month. Again, these were lightly worn for 6 months & required lots of maintenance to even get them to hold up for that long. That all being said, I feel like I got my money's worth out of these.

Overall great boots
These are great. Been wearing them for couple of months every day. Warm enough, sturdy, doesn't deteriorate after rain or snow, quite stylish. I usually wear 9.5 and took same size with these, but 9.5 is a bit loose. I'd recommend taking a half size smaller. Overall I'm satisfied with these boots and will be buying again when needed

Terrible boots, terrible company
Edit: Somehow these managed to go from one star to four. I decided to give them more of a shot, and I'm real glad I did. One of the things I disliked most about these boots was that the fronts were a different color than the rest, which was not only unappealing, but felt it made them look fake, like plastic. However, as I wore them, that look seemed to fade. I noticed it wasn't as bad as I'd thought, and the wear in them made them look a lot more vintage, and frankly, badass. They have legitimately become my go-to for anything (that matches with brown) but shorts, and have gotten around 5 compliments on them in the half a year I've owned them. And obviously, the price is right at forty bucks. The only reason they didn't make five stars is the durability. In about two months, one of the top lace loops(/brackets?) broke, and another two months later my feet were getting wet from holes in the soles. Not great there since they didn't last long, but I'll probably buy em again and continue to wear the old ones except when it's wet out. Original Review: I was real excited to get these, but that expectation fell extremely flat when they were delivered. These are possibly the worst "boots" I've ever experienced. These are much like clothing and much more like costume quality. They look and feel nothing like the photos in this ad, but rather seem to be made of plastic, with a zipper that is barely functional, constantly gets stuck, and will inevitably break in no time. I missed the return window so will likely either resell for cheap or throw them out since I don't have much space. I cannot overstate my disappointment, and will certainly not be buying anything further from Vostey since the other pair I bought from them is no better.
