THE SUNDAY TIMES , NEW YORK TIMES AND TIKTOK SENSATION, AND NOW A PRIME ORIGINAL FILM STARRING LILI REINHART AND TOM BATEMAN! Read it before you see it with Ali Hazelwood's original swoony STEM romance novel - featuring a bonus chapter from Adam's perspective! A fake relationship between scientists meets the irresistible force of attraction. As a third-year Ph.D. candidate, Olive Smith doesn't believe in lasting romantic relationships - but her best friend does, and that's what got her into this situation. Convincing Anh that Olive is dating and well on her way to a happily ever after was always going to take more than hand-wavy Jedi mind tricks: Scientists require proof. So, like any self-respecting biologist, Olive panics and kisses the first man she sees. That man is none other than Adam Carlsen, a young hotshot professor - and well-known ass. Which is why Olive is positively floored when Stanford's reigning lab tyrant agrees to keep her charade a secret and be her fake boyfriend. But when a big science conference goes haywire, putting Olive's career on the Bunsen burner, Adam surprises her again with his unyielding support and even more unyielding...six-pack abs. Suddenly their little experiment feels dangerously close to combustion. And Olive discovers that the only thing more complicated than a hypothesis on love is putting her own heart under the microscope. Review: There’s some minor dents and scratches. - The Book’s cover is beautiful but there’s some minor dents and scratches to it. It’s not really a big problem to me atleast it arrived, I had put some Scotch tapes to the dents or ripped part so it will not rip more.

The Love Hypothesis is an avalanche of serotonin—@thatshortwriter on IG
🇬🇧 Usually I don't like hyped books, but this time I'm super happy to have followed the crowd, because it made me discover a debut book that I loved from the first lines and that has become one of my new favorite comfort books. In all honesty, if I could give it a thousand stars out of 5 I would. The Love Hypothesis is an avalanche of serotonin. It's fun, adorable, awkward and thoughtful. Olive ("like the tree") is a P.h.D. candidate looking for funds for a cancer research and is a young woman who would do anything to see her friends happy—including pretending to be dating the most tyrannical professor on campus (pfff ADAM IS AN ADORABLE MUFFIN) to help her best friend come forward with her ex, guilt-free. And if this also means convincing the University that Adam has no intention of transferring and not losing his funds, it's even better, right? He certainly doesn't accept it for any other reasons. Nope. Read it if you like: - fake dating trope; - grumpy x sunshine; - pumpkin spice latte (wink wink); - university setting; - WOMEN IN STEM; - 🔥🔥🔥 (But even if you don't. Read it. C'mooon!) Davvero. Leggetelo. Daaai!)

Me encanta

SO GOOD
I'm not into romance books but this one was so good! The relationship between Olive and Adam was very well built and it didn't feel rushed in the story. Chapter 16 got me giggling at 1am on a week day lol anyways I recommend :)

The Love Hypothesis was the first rom-com trope book I ever read, and I loved it!
The Love Hypothesis was the first rom-com trope book I ever read, and I loved it! From the very first pages, the story had such a captivating feel and vibe. The dynamics between Olive and Adam felt smooth and engaging, almost like Cheers in a science lab. I adore that unique atmosphere throughout the story. The side characters were also fantastic and humour-filled, which complemented Ali Hazelwood's superb writing. It was such an easy read that drew me in completely. I will check out more of the author's talented works and highly recommend this as a must-read!
