Sperry Top-Sider A/O 2 Eye, Men's Boat Shoes

Lovely shoe.. Been wearing these since the 90's.. It's pretty much the only shoe I wear. Proper Sperry's last for ages (years). Cheaper imitations fail as quick as 6 months. Once they've been worn for a few weeks, they feel like comfortable slippers. Never had a shoe more comfortable. They are that good I only wear socks when it's cold. My advice - get two (or more) pairs and never wear a pair two days in a row. collectively, they last longer as the days 'breather' lets the shoe recover. The pair these are replacing are over 4 years old, been worn every other day and it's only that the sole is getting a little thin that demands the replacement. Watch out for the sizing! the shoes are labelled (in white inside the tongue) in US sizes. UK sizes are one down (UK10=US11) I normally a UK10/Wide, whereas in these I'm a US11/Medium.. Any decent shopping centre (eg: Bluewater) will have these in-store for you to try on. Go for the slightly snug fit as the shoe will stretch slightly to perfectly mould your feet. I find getting them wet/damp and wearing them for the day results in a perfect fit. This is the second pair of Sperrys I've owned and it's great to come back to a brand and not find they've dropped their standards. Good thick leather which breaks in really nicely in a couple of days wear to give you shoes you won't want to take off, as well as a wardrobe staple.

Sperry Top-Siders are the original and remain the best boat shoe on the market. If you like your clothes to come with heritage, soul, and that authentic preppy vibe look no further. I’ve owned Sebagos and Timberlands but once you’ve made the jump you will never go back. I love that Paul Sperry was inspired by watching his Labrador running on a frozen lake and wondered why she wasn’t slipping. Next time you have a look at the soul of the shoe compare with your best friend’s paw pads.

Product quality was ok but incorrect size supplied from American supplier and was clearly stated on Amazon order to them .didn’t have confidence in them to reorder so just went for refund .

Good leather,well made,good price.Very comfortable good classic for casual wear.Especially if,as I do,you hate trainers.

Initially we thought we had received the wrong size, the box showing Size 9, and I initiated a return. However we then noticed the label also showed it as a size 8 UK, size 9 being USA. So even though the shoe was slightly bigger against an identical older pair of the same make etc, the hubby decided that they were not too big upon trying on and without socks as they are supposed to be worn. The are in fact perfect. Original box, original lace hole metal rivets with the Sperry name, branding also identical on the whole shoe, so he's very pleased.

I have neuropathy, so it's a rare shoe that fits well enough not to cause additional pain. I got these in black, 13 Wide, wish they had more colors available in my size. These fit like the proverbial glove. Could not be happier.

Veel dank aan Amazon.de die het mogelijk maakt om deze schoenen ook in de EU te kopen. Zonder Amazon.de was dat voorrecht alleen aan onze Angelsaksische buren voorbehouden geweest. Ik was op zoek naar de meest klassieke en originele bootschoenen op de markt en dan kom je al snel uit bij Sperry Top-Sider. Ze zien er prachtig uit, lopen lekker en zijn ook nog voordelig in aanschaf.
