Koss Official Oversized Replacement Cushion Earpads for Porta Pro, KPH40 Utility and KSC75 Headphones, Purple

I use it with my Koss to take a walk around the neighborhood. People can plainly see it so they dont think I'm some sort of criminal walking around. The earpads are comfortable, and so far, are holding up just fine.

I specifically ordered these for my KPH40s and they are a worthwhile addition. These pads don’t change the already great sound, but they do make the on-ear placement of the 40s much less troublesome. These phones were always finicky before, but now they just sit nicely on my ears due to the increased contact area. No change in sound, because the thickness of the foam hasn’t changed. Foam doesn’t last forever, but when these degrade, I’ll replace them with these Koss pads again.

[update 06-08-25: Turns out they do start to fade like other color pads, so dock a star.]Original review:they are a good option for porta pro, which needs pads like these to make them more comfortable. i have the other brands of pads listed in the review title and these compare well to them. these are thinner foam but still achieve greatere comfort than the stock koss pads. the pads cover a greater surface area than the stock pads. the thinner foam makes them fold up nicer than yaxi (and similar) pads which have thicker foam.the color (i bought purple) seems to already be "pre-washed" and faded which is a good thing. if you have ever bought brightly colored headphone pads then you know that they bleed color and fade after a short time. whenever i get brightly colored headphone pads I always pre-wash them by hand to bleed out some of the color so it doesn't stain my clothes. with the koss pads i haven't felt the need to.

Looks and sounds great on KPH40s. Large enough even original pads will fit inside. I highly suggest trying and listening to the difference. Very pleased with this purchase.

Fit my portapros way better than the original ones which had ripped. Feels comfortable as well!

These fit my older Koss portapros perfectly. The originals dry rotted after a few years.

Larger version of the stock pads that come on porta pros with easier barrier to entry than Yaxi pads. For a consumable part of the headphones, the price is affordable and the quality is what you can expect from Koss. Installation was easy and the sound quality isn't affected by swapping the pads. Hopefully these hold up better than the generic ones from china.

I only bought these as the Yaxi pads and ear clips ON MY Koss KSC75 end up causing a tight fit on your ears. Getting 1 pair at this price is utterly shameful.
