These loops are a great size and are plenty thick enough so that they are sturdy. The only reason I'm giving them 4 instead of 5 stars is because some of them were not lined up great where the loops seal closed. These are great for the price, just make sure that you order a few extras for blemishes.

Some luggage tags are thin and cheap. These are not they have a nice weight to them and are easy to apply.

Bought these to attach elementary aged kids' IDs attached to their backpacks. These are sturdy but flexible, it's been a couple months, and so far they've held up well. These are not flimsy and don't break easy, I have used about 20 so far and none of them have broken.

The default straps that come with some luggage tags are not up to the task of keeping the tag in place. I needed something better to replace the custom tags that I design and sell. These are perfect for the job. While I love return customers, I don't want it to be due to a strap failure.

I used to work for a large travel agency with several offices hundreds of miles apart. So I had to travel fairly regularly. I made credit-card-sized address and destination airport codes IDs on my laser printer. The airport codes (LAX, SFO, ORD, etc) were printed large to draw attention. I laminated the cards and used these VERY STRONG flexible ties to attach them to my luggage. I never lost anything. Nothing was ever delayed in arrival. I think the airport code cards were more important for correct routing than the address cards because nothing was ever lost and needing to be returned. But, none of the ID cards was ever torn from the luggage because these ties are very strong AND very flexible.
