Longtime Osprey owner
I have a 32L Nebula that I use for my daily work grind two and from (for last 5 years). It’s a beast I use it to commute with 2 laptops and domestic flights for any extra clothes I need. I’ll be going international without all my work gear and wanted the same quality but a smaller bag for daily walks around new cities and some light hiking and this bag is perfect. Very lightweight in comparison. has a luggage strap at the neck which is an upgrade and still fits 1 laptop (14”) easily with room to spare for a bigger laptop and other essentials. all the other great material i had on the previous bag are present or upgraded and it’s just more streamlined. very excited to use it. Laptop sleeve has extra cushion at the bottom of the bag, the green color is a darker olive green which is great. the straps have less padding than my nebula, but again that’s meant to hold significantly more, regardless these straps feel very sturdy with the built in webbing. I thought this would feel small but it fits both my wife (5’3) and myself (5’10) perfectly with the straps and size. great addition to my weekend vacation life. highly recommend this brand you won’t be disappointed. and no wasn’t paid to make this reco :)

Great features in a high quality, light weight, day pack
Great features in a high quality, light weight, day pack. Side pockets and straps are excellent for holding drink cups or water bottles and hold both small and large (up to about 32oz) containers securely. Comfortable, easy to adjust, straps keeps the pack secure on your back while walking / hiking. Multiple pockets and zippered areas keep items separated for easy access. Ease of use latches make the pack quick to remove when entering a transportation vehicle. Comfortable top handle allows easy carrying when not on your back.

New Daily Driver
I'm not into the whole "Everyday Carry" backpacks that are just a black bag with no standout features that target niche pockets and sizes and materials just to cost $300. Yes I'm looking at you "Manybaggers". I wanted a good commute bag that was between my Osprey Daylite Sling, and my Osprey Transporter Roll Top. The Osprey Daylite was exactly what I needed. The Seaweed Green is beautiful, and the bag is the perfect size for daily carry, while also being versatile enough to allow for an overnight trip. It has the typical Osprey features that are more fitted for backpacking but translate surprisingly well to commuter bags, namely the chest and hip straps, the back ventilation, and compression straps. All features I miss on conventional bags, especially the back ventilation! So the key things that make this perfect for day to day is the laptop sleeve and water bottle pockets. Those are my two requirements for day to day. It fits my 13.6" MacBook Air just fine, and my Nalgene Water Bottles are a perfect fit. So no issues on those parts. It passes the test for my needs. Past that the quality of the bag itself is as expected. It's water resistant but I would buy the Osprey Commuter Waterproof Cover if you're expecting to carry it in rain. It's an extra cost but you can use it on all of your bags regardless. Without one it's good enough for accidental spills but not full on soaking. The zippers are also perfect, as expected from Osprey. You're not catching it on a million things even when packed to the brim.

Really great day pack!
TLDR: 11/10, would (and did) buy again. Perfect small backpack. Very well manufactured, unbeatable warranty through Osprey. Lightweight, water resistant, and perfect size for a light day hike. This pack is a smaller backpack, enough to carry a light jacket plus some other knicknacks. Is not a full sized backpack. Perfect for a light hike or for exploring a foreign city. Flat pocket that sits along your back for carrying a hydration pouch or can double as a tablet or very thin notebook pocket. Smaller outer pouch with two flat pockets for additional small things. Shoulder straps are robust and comfortable. Chest and waist strap included. Chest strap buckle is also a whistle. This is actually my second Osprey Daylite, my first purchased many years ago. This is an updated version with deeper and more functional outside mesh pockets for water bottles. The "handle" between the shoulder straps is also a little closer to the pack allowing the pack to sit up a little higher on the back if desired. My first pack is still holding up great, but I passed it on to my son - it's a good size for a kid to wear and carry stuff around in. Bought a second for my other son now that he's old enough to carry his own stuff around too. I upgraded to a Daylight Plus since I wouldn't mind a little more carry space (a fantastic option if you want something just a little more roomy than the Daylight). I wouldn't mind a couple more pockets/pouches, but that's a very minor gripe.

Great daypack
I love this mini backpack; I've taken it to Europe for touristy trips as well as to the mountains of Wyoming for day hikes. Lightweight, sturdy, easy to adjust. Carries 1 liter water bottles with ease.

Great pack! Fits more than you think!
Love the bag. It will be great for short hikes but I bought it to use as a personal item bag for upcoming flights. Just enough room and perfect size for under the seat. I did a test pack out and very comfortable to wear. The only thing I'm not happy with is all the dangly straps. They are everywhere and since they are bright orange on my pack they stand out. I won't use the waist straps so I removed them which helped. Otherwise a great deal and excellent materials.

Simply the best!
I took this backpack on a trip to Quebec and honestly, it pulled more than its weight. I stuffed in my laptop, iPad, Kindle, and all the basics, and it still didn’t feel bulky. Then later, with all the tech gear out, it doubled as a day bag. At one point, it was carrying four sweatshirts and a couple of water bottles. It’s small but deceptively roomy, and it’s the perfect bag for on the go. Super impressed.

Well made product
This is a really nice backpack. I was looking for something to fit my Macbook Air and looked into this. I wanted non-bulky. The tan concrete color is a very nice neutral brown and I like it more than I expected. One thing to know about this is that while a lot of people use it for laptops, there is no padding in the sleeve. However, it's big enough to use a case and put it in the main bag. There is a plus size with a padded laptop sleeve but I wanted something smaller. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable and practical little backpack
The backpack was purchased to replace an old backpack that had seen better days. I have a larger Osprey backpack and have found it to be very comfortable and well made. The new smaller osprey did not disappoint. It has a vented foam back section which is great for hot days and long hikes. The compartments are well designed and carry quite a bit of stuff for a compact backpack. The price was also a deciding factor as it is very good value for a top quality backpack - no hesitation in recommending it to other potential buyers.

A Great Carry-On / Personal Item and EDC Backpack
It's my first Osprey product purchase, and i'm impressed. It's super light made of thin nylon material, but feels durable. The waist belt doesn't seem necessary for such a small bag but i'm glad it's removable, it's nice to have the option. I like that the YKK zippers are non PU coated and the looped zipper pulls help make them easy to open and close. The combined luggage passthrough and grab handle is a different feature i've never seen before, but works as intended. My only critisism is i wish it had some lash points to hook a carabiner to.

Great size, durable backpack!
Great quality backpack, suitable for day trips or longer hikes. Good space for waterproof, packed lunch and other bits and pieces. Loved the unusual colourway. Quite lightweight. Looking forward to getting more use out of it.
