Expected nothing less from Draw-Tite with this high quality hitch. Easy to install and they provide bolt fishing lines to assist. You will either need a second set of hands or use a hydraulic floor jack like I did to raise the hitch up. Took me less than 30 minutes to install and held up as expected pulling my medium sized trailer. Highly recommend.

Unlike some other purchasers, my hitch lined up perfectly to my Tacoma frame with no issues . I fished 2 bolts through the frame with the wires provided. I was installing the hitch by myself so I used some wooden blocks to line it up & support it within about 1/2" of my frame. From there it was easy to insert & tighten all 6 bolts. Total install time was about 40 minutes with about 10 of that just getting the hitch on blocks & lined up.

Purchased a used 23’ Tacoma SR, unfortunately, they don’t make them all with hitches. Lucky for me, this hitch was a breeze to install! The Tacoma trucks come with pre-fabricated holes on frame. The kit took 15 minutes to install after watching a quick video, six bolts later and I have a brand new hitch! Couldn’t recommend it enough for a DIY install, don’t pay the dealership for something you can do with a blindfold.

Dont let the other reviews scare you away, thier fitment issues are due to them not installing it correctly. Short summary: product was shipped fast, absolutely zero damage on box or product. Install was a breeze I did it in 20 min by myself. Would definitely buy this asap. Down below I will give you Tips!!! Step 1: Take all 4 bolts and pre thread them in there designated spots (I took pics of the 4 I'm referring to). Run them in about halfway, they are hard to start, hence why you thread them in before you install!!!! Step 2: Take them back out lol Step 3: take the 2 rectangle washers and put them on the spring/wire they sent you to help install the bolts. Fish them through the hole and pull it through and get it in position. Then take the wire off Step 4: take the 2 smaller bolts and literally screw them into the spring part of the wire. Fish the bolt through the same holes as the washer. And pull the wire through the RECTANGLE washer and get the bolt to drop in the washer. (Way easier than it sounds) Step 5: take tow hitch and place it where it needs to go ( I layer on my back and held it up with my knees. Take the 4 bolts/washers that you already pre threaded and removed, and do 1 on one side and one on the other halfway. You'll be able to let go of the hutch once you have 2 bolts in on each side. Do the same with the remaining bolts. Step 6: tighten all 4 bolts almost all the way going from one to another on the other side!!! you want a little bit of play. Step 7: Take a small flathead screwdriver and put it between the hitch and the truck and hold the 2 smaller bolts you fished through in Step 4. Hold the bolt in place with the screwdriver and put on the nut. ( the screwdriver just holds the bolt so it won't rotate) tighten them all the way. Final step tighten everything down to spec. If you made it this far plz don't be alarmed. It sounds like a lot but is EXTREMELY easy. This kit has everything you need to install.

Great quality hitch. Installation was fairly easy using a floor jack to lift it up and hold it in place. The piano wire guides are extremely flexible… I wound up using a metal coat hanger to snake them through the support. Once I figured that out, the rest of the install was a snap
