Tasty and delicious coffee!

I was so excited to get this coffee delivered—I first had it in Jamaica and have been craving it ever since. The flavor is incredible: rich, smooth, and not acidic at all. It’s honestly so good that I even enjoy drinking it black, which I rarely do with other coffees. This Blue Mountain coffee absolutely lives up to the experience I remembered. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a truly flavorful, high-quality cup!

This coffee is absolutely authentic Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. It's hard to weed through the blends (which may have as little as 10% JBM coffee mixes in) and the fakes to find a 100% single plantation non-blend authentic one. After checking the labeling and the coffee board of Jamaica's website I determined that Plantation Blue (the brand you are buying) and the processor/roaster (greenwich mountain estates) they use are BOTH listed on the ministry of agriculture - coffee inspection board's website. The brand Plantation Blue and their parent company Plantation Associates are licensed to use the internationally protected Blue Mountain Seal which allows them to call this fantastic grade of coffee Jamaican Blue Mountain. Greenwich Mountain Estates (the estate that does their packaging and roasting) is known for making some of the best Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee and has been in the business for decades operating one of the largest coffee plantations in the region. So basically what I am getting at is this is the REAL DEAL JBM Coffee folks. JBM coffee is all hand inspected one bean by one bean before being certified/roasted. Every person who touches the coffee is employed by a company that is licensed by the government. Its only grown in a certain region of Jamaican near kingston but in the mountains above 1000 meters (~ 3000ft). Its freakishly smooth tasting with light notes of chocolate in the taste. Its a full bodied coffee with little to no bitterness/aftertaste. In the grand scheme of things at $25-30 for 8oz it's not that expensive IF YOU USE A FILTERED K-CUP like the ones in my picture. You can easily get 28-36 cups of coffee by stuffing your own filtered K Cups and using a kuerigg to brew it. If you think about it the average box of brand name K cups is $9-11 for 12x cups. This 8oz bag is enough to make up to 28-36 cups depending on how much you want to stuff each K-cup. If you go this route just make sure you purchase the k-cup adapter that comes with the paper filters like in my picture. They work fantastic and produce a fantastic tasting reasonably priced cup of authentic Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee!!!
