Well stitched just not as thick leather as I believe the quality should be
Neither rose nor salmonberry bush thorns are prevented from sticking your hands while using as the ones from Lee Valley are. Not send back but wouldn’t order again these particular gloves.

Bought a second pair!
I can’t say enough good about these gloves. I’m removing several years worth of invasives including sumac, multiflora with long spines, and vines. After hours not a single puncture. I bought XL as I have abnormally long hands and they protect almost past elbows.I haven’t used these for fine gripping so there are probably better gloves. But if you’re looking to protect your arms from scratches and sticks, these are the ones. I’m working with hand tools and they provide a good grip yet aren’t excessively heavy or stiff.Leather is good quality and appearance is pleasing. Doesn’t show dirt easily. Liked them so much I bought a second pair when my daughter was helping me.I think the ad is a little confusing—says one item but in fact is a pair that comes in an attractive gift box. You could put a ribbon on it and give it for Mother’s Day.
