What is the actual working load limit (WLL) of each strap (in pounds please)?

WORKING load is only 403lbs. The breaking strength is usually 2-3 times working load limits.

What is the length hook to hook when fully retracted?

18" from end of hook to end of hook when fully retracted.

Where are these made?

I’m not sure where they are made, but they do not last.

when I use first use them they seem to slip a bit at first, is that normal, as it means they don't stay fully tight?

I haven't had that problem. Mine worked great and stayed tight.
