Great overview of the field.

Aircraft Wiring and Electrical Installation is an excellent reference for aircraft maintainers whose primary expertise may be in areas other than electrical wiring and harness repairs. The book gives logical and technically correct information guiding technicians in identifying connectors, correct splices, soldering techniques, wiring routing, strain relief, etc., along with correct repair techniques. For technicians who have been trained in aircraft electrical systems and repair, but perhaps have not used that knowledge in some time, this book is a great refresher. Our company includes this book, along with pertinent electrical drawings, work instructions, and other supplemental technical material in the harness repair kits provided to remotely deployed operators of our equipment.

Lot of good information

This is a good reference for my airframe electrical class.

Outdated, very basic, may be useful if you are supporting old aircraft. AC 43-13 is a much more useful reference. Not relevant to new aircraft designs, ie anything newer than the 90s.
