I received the ice maker and it was very loud. I contacted the manufacturer as the instructions. I explained the situation and they said we will send you a new one. The sent me a label to send the other back. I received the new one it is very quiet and makes great cubed ice fast. Customer service was great. Very satisfied.

I specifically looked for a clear ice machine and this delivers. If you want to have clear ice, you need to have quality water as well as clean habits with the machine. Do not grab ice with anything but tongs. Do not use tap water. Do not use spring water. Use distilled water or Osmosis water with a UV sterilizer. Do not expect to run the machine continuously except for an occasional situation.. Run it once a week to make all the ice you need for a week. It’ll make about 15 lbs in 6 hours. When done using it, drain it. Air dry or towel try all compartments. Do not put away wet. Follow these rules, and you won’t have to run the clean cycle much if at all.

this product advertises clear, attractive ice that's ideal for cocktails, but fails on every level. the ice is not clear, just as cloudy as every ice made in a fridge ice maker. I tried with both filtered and bottled spring water, same cloudy ice. the ice does not come out in nice cubes that you would want in a cocktail, it comes out in a block that needs to be smashed apart. the machine is loud. very noticeable while its running the manufacturer recommends cleaning it every few days, which it doesn't advertise up front. cleaning it is very difficult. it has two water reservoirs, one up top and one below. the bottom one has a plug to drain it, but the top one has nothing leaving you to either run the machine over your sink with the bottom plug undone or tipping the machine over in the sink to pour the water out. as the title states there's nothing to like about this ice maker. do not waste your money.

The unit makes ice relative quickly and is quiet, but only four stars as the cubes are never clear. It's a good ice machine, but not a good clear ice machine.

It takes a little time to figure out your thickness for cocktails and water bottles but this is a great product. I don’t have to keep on refilling. The reservoir in the ice melt slowly in your drinks.
