Easy to use and works GREAT for my cat!
Not a pill so very easy to use with a cat, even a picky one. My cat needed these vitamins - older cat in somewhat fragile health. I have seen an increase in her eating and general behavior since starting these vitamins. Easy to mix into food to be "hidden" and do not have to force anything down. Highly recommend for ease of use and for what it has provided to my cat.

Very positive results!
Have 6 Maine Coon cats, all ages. Just began using this supplement, and all of them are loving it. Perkier, playful, more alert, and very responsive. Amazing results within days. Great product!

Well, the smell is attractive to some animals!
This is my second time purchasing this product. About 2 years ago I purchased this product because I had to DIY my cats food due to being sick, and this time I have to buy it because my cat is sick again and will only eat cooked chicken. My cat seemed to tolerate it okay, you just have to keep in mind that this product could overdose your animal with vitamins if they are already eating a balanced diet. This is more for cats that are eating home-made food, hunt for food, or are sick. In regards to the taste and smell - last time I had this product in the house, my dog was so attracted to it, that she counter surfed for the very first time so that she could crack the bottle open and lick all the powder. I did unfortunately have to call poison control - but at least it was obvious that the taste and smell were actually attractive to animals, despite how strange it smells to humans.

Great Vitamin/ Mineral Supplement For Cats!
I've used and have been happy with other products from this company in the past. I have to say that I also really like this vitamin / mineral supplement for my cats. There are some really great ingredients added to this mix! To name a few: Milk Thistle is amazing in ensuring the liver stays healthy. It also is know to help repair the liver. Beef Liver is a fantastic addition to any diet. Organ meats are great for your dogs and cats! They are a natural source of iron. Taurine is an essential component to every cat's diet. Without the proper amount of Taurine, cats can become blind, be chronically sick, or worse. Zinc is great for the immune system! That is just to name a few of the great ingredients in this mix. The smell isn't bad. To me it smells like your typical vitamin/ mineral mix - like a vitamin C smell. My cats do not mind the flavor at all. I added it into both of their food and they both ate it just fine. I haven't used it long term yet, but am pleased with it so far. I feel this is definately worth the money.

Really nice supplement
I was looking for a nice overall supplement to add to my 4 cats daily treat of canned cat food - this product is excellent The cats seem to love the taste of it, I just mix a small amount into each bit of wet food and they eat it all with no problem - after using for a while, it seems that their coats are shinier and the oldest one just seems to feel better and move around more - would recommend this supplement

Another outstanding product from this company
My cat's been flourishing on Rx Vitamins' multimineral powder for the past several months (we're most of the way through our 2nd large container of it). This new supplement is a welcome general-purpose, broad-spectrum nutritional booster in the company's lineup of more targeted products. I'm transitioning my mostly healthy senior cat to this product gradually in the expectation that I'll be able to wean him off a few of his more specialized supplements. That should simplify our daily feeding regimen as well as save me some money. We've used a few of this company's other excellent products, which have all been effective and well tolerated by my cat. The recommended serving size is 1/2 tsp., and I may skimp a bit on that since my cat's on the smaller side (~8 lbs.) and I'll likely continue him on some of his other supplements alongside this one.

Good mix of vitamins, minerals and nutrients - safe for cats when used in moderation
This product seems to have a good mix of ingredients to support health in cats. However, most of the vitamins and minerals in this product are already sufficiently included in commercially available cat food, so, I would recommend providing your cat with only modest amounts of this stuff. On a positive note, my cat is not bothered by the beef liver flavor, in fact, I think she likes it. Per the instructions, they say to administer 1/2 teaspoon daily. Again, most of the listed vitamins and minerals are already included in commercially available cat food, because the AAFCO will not certify cat food for sale in the US unless it has the minimum required vitamins and minerals that cats need to survive and prosper. Because of this, rather than administering 1/2 teaspoon, I've been giving my cat an 1/8 teaspoon daily, which I'll do for a while, just to be sure there are no negative effects due to allergies, or any other reasons. After I know my cat isn't allergic to any of the ingredients, I'll probably bump it up to 1/4 teaspoon daily - but I don't think I'll ever go up to 1/2 teaspoon daily. Too many of the same vitamins and minerals can be harmful to cats because many of these vitamins/minerals stay in the body and accumulate, therefore, I think in this case - less is more. One exception to this, would be if you're making home-made food for your cats. Adding this will give cats everything they need, since home-made food doesn't usually have all the necessary vitamins, minerals and nutrients included (such as Taurine). The special nutrients have some great ingredients, such as Spirulina, Milk Thistle and Kelp. However, the one ingredient I'm concerned about is the PABA (Para-Aminobenzoic Acid). PABA is part of the folic acid molecule. It was once considered a B vitamin but is now considered a nonessential nutrient. PABA is now used as a sunscreen because it can block ultraviolet (UV) radiation to the skin. PABA is an FDA-approved sunscreen. PABA is sometimes used by people for hardening of skin and connective tissue (scleroderma), aging skin, infertility, and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses. For cats, ingesting too much PABA can cause nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, skin redness and rash. PABA is also believed to increase the ability of estrogen to facilitate fertility. Bottom-line, there is only 1 mg of PABA in a 1-teaspoon serving of this product. What I'm pointing out here, is that the amounts of PABA in this product are so miniscule, the chance of any negative effects in cats (assuming you're not over-administering this product) are small. However, I'm not really sure why it was included in the first place. Overall, I'm giving this product 4-stars. I feel confident that this product will help support my cat's overall health in the long-run, but I'm only going to administer 1/4 teaspoon at most, just to be safe. I think the potential benefits of this product outweigh any health risks. The only reason I went into such detail about PABA, is because it's a fairly unknown cat supplement ingredient, and I just want people to be aware of it, that's all. I'm happy that there's an expiration date on the bottom of the bottle, however, I'm NOT happy that there's absolutely no indication on the bottle as to where this product was made! For all I know, this stuff could have been made in China. I don't generally trust products from Communist China, because their food safety protocols and quality controls are horrendous. Companies whose products are made in the US are always very proud of that fact - so, if this product was truly made in the US, why doesn't it say that anywhere on the bottle? There isn't even an American flag logo that some companies put on their products. To me, that's a big red flag (with 5 yellow stars in the upper left corner, one big one, and four smaller ones).

Great Tasting! And the cats like it too.
The first thing I did after opening the bottle was taste the product myself. Its sweetness surprised me. So I checked the ingredients and found that the first ingredient is Unrefined Molasses Crystals. So that explained it. The second ingredient is liver powder. I am not sure of the reason for the Molasses. Perhaps that, and the liver powder just helps it taste good and helps cover up some of the more unsavory ingredients. I did like the taste. The next thing I did is put some into my cat's food. And she gobbled it up as usual. So it looks like it's a win. It is incredibly important that things taste good to cats. I like that a serving is only a half a teaspoon too, though the nutritional analysis is for one teaspoon. The bottle doesn't say how many servings it contains, but I believe it will last awhile.
