I bought the 1.1LB bag in March 2026 and received a bag with an expiration date of Feb 28. The bag is vacuum sealed and compressed into a hard brick, but once opened, it's your regular granular yeast. The yeast performed beautifully, producing a wonderful loaf of bread. I make my bread in the bread maker with 2.5 cups of wheat flour, 3/4 cup of rye flour, and 2 teaspoons of dry instant yeast. Review: This bag is massive and will probably outlive me at this point. I only use about half a teaspoon for a few decent sized baguettes so it barely makes a dent. Works beautifully though and gives great rise every time. Just remember to get it to room temp. I keep mine stored in a Pyrex in the fridge and it stays fresh. For the price it is honestly a steal considering how long it lasts. Tastes soooo good.

Convenient -- keep the leftovers in the freezer in a well-sealed plastic container. Much less expensive than individual packets. Quality is good, it works as well as other brands.

The best yeast I have purchased thus far! Overall freshness and value for my money is great. The ease of use when baking is great and the it works incredible!

The kids and I made home pizza and the yeast was perfect,pizza dough raised perfectly. The pizza was delicious by the way.
