K&H Heated Water Bowl, Thermal-Bowl for Cats & Dogs, Safety Listed 12W

This heated water bowl is AMAZING. The size is perfect and truly ideal for dogs of all sizes. We have a Labrador, and I only need to refill it about every other day, which is super convenient. We recently had a snowstorm with about 6 inches of snow, and this morning the temperature dropped to -12°F. Even in those conditions, the water stayed completely thawed. The only ice was a little around the rim where water had splashed when our dog drank. Our dog was inside during the storm and had access to water indoors, but when she went outside to use the restroom, she also had fresh, unfrozen water available—which gave me huge peace of mind. I even noticed birds stopping by to drink from it during the storm since it was the only thawed water around for miles. It does exactly what it promises and works flawlessly in extreme cold. 5 stars, 10/10, highly recommend! 🐾❄️

This bowl is great. Keeps the water from freezing when the weather is so cold but doesn’t warm up the water too much. Very durable

I love these heated bowls they work great

We have 2 stray cats who have came to live on our deck year round. This bowl was perfect to provide them with water during the cold winter months. Easy to use, keeps water thawed, durable and stable. Even the birds occasionally perch on it for a drink. Highly recommend!

It kept the water from freezing, but I had to keep putting hot water in it so the water was lukewarm. The other one I had kept the water warm too. At least I knew the outdoor community cats had water.

This bowl is 5 stars. I live in a part of the US that gets freezing cold & tons of snow. I have 2 little feral cats I care for. Don't worry, my husband built them a heated duplex house. One thing we always struggled w/was their water freezing. Some winters I'd be changing their water bowl every hour. This heated bowl is a Godsend. This winter we were in the single digits for over 2 weeks. We had 20-30mph winds that put our windchill in the negative 20s. We had 5 nights that regular temp went below zero. This bowl never ever froze!!! Totally worth every single penny!!! A side note though, don't use this bowl in warm weather, the water evaporates quick!

Bought this for the 3 feral cats at the house and sure glad I did. Pretty bad winter with weeks of below freezing temps and this bowl performed perfectly. No ice at all even though I left it out in the open. Really robust and easy to clean. Will definitely buy another in the event this one fails. Pretty impressed!

I use this bowl outside in the winter time for my chickens. They end up drinking out of it year round and the dog does as well. I’ve never had any issues with it

-20C right next to the house the edges froze up but the dog could still get water. Unfortunately -40C was too cold out.

This is a well made product. After two months outside in an Alberta winter, it still looks new. It recently survived an extended period of snowy weather with temperatures reaching minus 32C and wind chills reaching minus 49C. It was sitting outside on our raised deck beside the house so it was partially sheltered from the wind. It never froze during that time. The thermostat works well and the water never heats to more than a few degrees above freezing in the warmer weather.

Update: Survived a 2nd winter! It has been left on and empty multiple times too, but still works. Exactly what I needed! No complaints so far. The temperature has gone down to -20C (colder with the wind chill) and you can see from the picture that the water does not freeze. There is sometimes just a bit of frost around the edge. I used a thermometer to determine the temperature of the water, and it was sitting at 11°C while the temp outside was -20°C. It's usually closer to 13°C when the temp outside is around -5°C. My only complaint is that it is harder to clean because the cord is attached (and can collect snow/ice), but this really isn't a big deal for us.
