These bags are high quality. I used the cheap, thin, clear bags and they all failed after the first use. These bags kept the air out and made packing all of our clothes easier and more efficient since we only had to use 2 suitcases. I will be getting more bags for sure as we have more trips coming up in the colder months and we will need to take coats. I had more invested in the cheap bags because I had to keep buying them. So, the Black Voyage bags are a great value for the money. The zipper seals very well and the difference in sizes makes them very useful.

5/5 - This thing is legit. The bag itself is thick, all black, and feels way more durable than the clear ones I've had rip before. Double seal holds, no air leaking back in. But the rechargeable pump is what makes it. It's small, USB-C, and actually powerful. Hit the button and it sucked my whole bag flat in like 30-40 seconds. No more sitting there with a hand pump or hunting for a vacuum. Pretty dope for how small it is. Used it to pack 5 days of clothes into a carry-on and still had room left. Zipper is smooth, looks cool, and it's reusable. For travel or just storing winter jackets, it does exactly what it says. Highly recommend if you want something that actually lasts and doesn't look like a trash bag in your suitcase.

These bags are really high quality! The material and zipper feel really nice and well-built. They are waterproof and come with a little handle on the side if you want to carry just the bag to a pool or beach or something like that. Size-wise, these are perfect to fit inside your carry on or large backpack once vacuum-sealed, and you can bring along an extra one (the come in a pack of 3) for dirty/laundry clothes to keep them separate on the way back from your trip. I went through the process of packing one of the 18L bags in the video, and I could have put a ton more clothing in the bag before sealing it! I highly recommend giving these a try. They are very functional and help save quite a bit of space for over-packers like me!

The material feels heavy-duty, premium, and durable—not like cheap plastic vacuum space bags that rip after one use. Not only do these travel bags look stylish, but they are great quality and really work well. The vacuum sealer is smaller than any of the other brands I was looking at so it’s easier to pack. The bags are heavy duty and the zippers are durable which keep the bags sealed. I never carried on before but now I can because of these bags. They have cool hooks if you want to deflate and hang straight in the closet making it easy to stay organized. They come in all different sizes and you can purchase with or without the vacuum which is a nice option. I would definitely recommend for all travelers!

Genuinely, this is the best purchase I have made in 2026. This is not a fake review - this is one written by an avid traveler and backpacker. I have used cheap plastic vacuum bags for a year - and will just buy new ones after every trip. They don’t retain air long, the zippers are that of ziplock bags, and they puncture easily. I decided to splurge and upgrade - I bought two bags to fit into my 40L Patagonia for 2.5 months of backpacking. This is THE BEST travel purchase I have made. I would say it quadruples the amount of space in my backpack - to the point where I didn’t even need the second bag. This is premium quality and something you will not need to replace with every use. I wish I bought them sooner - the vacuum/pump is high power, the zipper is air tight, and the bags stay sealed until you open them. Easy to use and perfect for traveling lightly.

These are extremely well-made bags that are thick and durable. I have used other, thinner bags that close with a plastic slide mechanism and those are much more difficult to close and keep airtight. The zipper on these Black Voyage bags is much easier to use and seems like they will provide a tighter seal. This review is for the 18L bags, but I also purchased the 41L bags. Please note that the letter "L" refer to "liters" as in "volume of storage" and not to "length." This is made clear in the description but some people might miss that. The 18L bags are quite small but would still hold a weekend's worth of outfits and undergarments. Employing two such bags would allow for several days' worth of packing and would fit easily into no only a rolling carry-on, but also an even smaller handheld carry-on. I plan to use the 41L bags for checked luggage as well as for larger carry-ons. The vacuum seal valve is sturdy and obviously will work with the vacuum pump sold by BV, but will also work with any other aftermarket pump. I already owned a Vacbird pump (also sold by Amazon) and that pump works with these bags perfectly. I did not purchase a BV pump and have no opinion on the quality or strength of that pump. All in all, whichever size you choose, you will be getting high quality bags that will change the way you pack.

Very Impressed! Previously tried Vacbird and these out perform them. Most impressive is how long the vacuum lasts. Other bags I’ve tried only lasted a day before air creeped back in. After 5 days, the seal is as good as day 1. Quality is great, strong bag, handles, D-ring, and even stronger zipper. Pump is pretty fast if you press some of the air out beforehand. I would give it 5 stars but one of the bags lost a seal after a 8 hours. Amazon sent replacement set and all the bags performed as expected. Ordering the 21L to fit all my ski clothes for an overseas trip. I’ll reevaluate after I’ve tested them more thoroughly and adjust the rating.

Comenzando por el empaque en que viene la bolsa de viaje, comienza a verse la calidad del producto. La firmeza del material de la bolsa y el cierre hermético de la cremallera, hacen entender la garantía de por vida del producto. Hice ya una prueba del vacío, la potencia de la bomba impresiona, y en verdad el volumen una vez hecho el vacío se reduce a menos de la mitad. Estrenaremos la bolsa la primera semana de octubre en vuelo trasatlántico.

Revisado el producto en cuanto llegó. La calidad de los materiales es evidente. La potencia de la bomba es mejor de lo que esperaba y tiene bloqueo para viaje.

En general bien, en el caso de una, el cierre se zafó fácilmente y es difícil acomodar el cierre nuevamente. Las otras 2 no han dado problemas, ahorras bastante espacio, muy prácticas.
