I wanted to give this item a good try to see if it helped my skin.. I do see changes in the clarity of my skin..it's not as dull or sallow looking.,I have some freckles so that didn't change but I do notice there is more blood flow to the skin...the light is meant to work through layers of skin to go deeper than skincare can go and serums...and I really like the warm feeling on my skin..I did get one of these which is hand held a few years back..and those were like little lights with a bulb type thing over it that softly went over the skin,,this is much different..they are little lights that are shaped in a square and so it's different if you've got something from over ten years ago ...I do see a change and I will continue to use this..I do have a compliant and that's just the heaviness of this product..you've got to lie down flat..the weight would sit on the bridge of my nose so I would prefer that the face mask was made lighter somehow..I couldn't wear it sitting up because there is only one strap.there isn't anything to hold this up while you are sitting up or walking around..you've got to really decide to lie back and I would put on something to watch on the tube and let it do it's thing..I do think it helps with the skin and the price is phenomenal..I experienced no bad side effects at all.

Good mask. Several different lights to choose from. Has different settings. Its comfortable and I do see improvement when using. Came in a very pretty box with instructions that included pictures

Missing the scraper tool

Mine won’t even stay on. If it did, maybe useful, but I would advise anyone to avoid this design if you’re claustrophobic. The packaging and gua Sha is nice though.

As others have mentioned, the straps aren’t great but after a minute I gave up on them and just lay down with the mask on my face and that was more than fine. I like that there’s an auto shut off after 15 minutes so that I don’t have to worry about setting a timer, I just put on my audiobook and chill. I’ve only tried with the red light setting so far and it does seem to reduce inflamation. I’ve had some red irritated patches on my cheeks for years that seem to be less so now. I’m hoping that over time it will do something for my always chapped lips. And maybe this is obvious but even with the cut outs for eyes it’s really very bright and you'll want to keep your eyes shut while it’s on. My biggest criticism is that mine came without any kind of instructions. Other reviews have said it came with a booklet. Not mine. I had to go back to the original listing to see how it works and what the settings were for. Annoying but whatever. I’ve got experience with red light therapy elsewhere and wasn’t that interested in the other settings. What I am dissapointed in, and yes, I understand that it’s like that on purpose, is that the red light setting has no heat at all. I was hoping it’d have a little.

The actual mask is interesting. I wish it had a timer function and would turn off itself after 10 minutes, but that's not currently part of its function. The mask attaches via a very hard to use strap system. The product itself was sent to me as a used product, which I didn't like since they said it was new. The actual product would be really great if it had both those functions - because its big enough for your whole face, you can see and breathe fine with the cutouts provided, and there are many different lights to use to help you target different uses on your face. I took off an additional star because the comic book that is included has copywrited material (specifically, Simon's Cat drawings). As someone who does art, I do not appreciate that.

Well, I'm new to all these different kinds of products that are supposed to help facial skin with lights. I've read about and researched them, and supposedly they can be effective when used with caution. I decided to order this mask and see if it does work. My face needs all the help it can get. I have to admit, I've only used it once. The instructions just weren't concise enough for me to feel safe using it. I have a friend who has a product similar to this and she will be coming over to ensure I'm using it correctly. The mask came beautifully boxed - great for gifting. The mask has its own little bag. It's really a very nice set. Overall, I think this is probably a great product. The only problem is the directions are not very clear to me. They're probably fine for someone experienced with these. Once I get help with it, I'll feel better about using it. If there are drastic results either way, I'll update this review.

I approached this with some healthy skepticism. I'm not actually sure it's having any effect on my skin. This is essentially a bunch of LED lights in a mask. But I'm willing to try anything that might improve my skin. I used this on the red light setting for a few weeks in 10 minute sessions and didn't really notice much difference in my skin. I will say that this came very nicely packaged and well presented. The box included the mask the storage bag for the mask, a Gua Sha stone (which caused broken capillaries), a storage bag for the stone, a strap for the mask, a USB-C charging cable and a comic book.
