inhand Cooling Throw Blanket for Hot Sleepers (50"x60", Pink)

I have a memory foam bed and it tends to get hot, and I really don't sleep well in the heat. Since I work nights, I have to sleep during the day when it’s at its warmest, which used to be a struggle. This cooling blanket is an absolute miracle! I cocoon myself in it and I'm finally able to sleep like a baby. I love how soft the material is and that it's so lightweight. It has a great price point, and I am genuinely in love with both the feel and the look of the blanket. Highly recommended for anyone who struggles with night sweats or warm sleeping environments!

Very nice. Light, soft, is surprisingly cool to the touch, much better than a sheet on an uncomfortable night. Cat likes it too. So far so good after washing.

My partner and I both run hot when we sleep. We've been getting by with a single blanket, two fans (one on each side), and our door propped open. No matter what, we almost always woke up trying to kick the blanket off of ourselves without kicking each other. We finally had enough where the heat woke us up last night and we slept in the living room (sleeper sofa deal). As a result I went looking for either A) a fan or B) one of those cooling blankets I kept seeing ads about (you can guess which one I went with). It came in and I ripped it open. My partner was still asleep (uncomfortably so) when I took the sheet off the bed and replaced it with this. From this experience I can say this: There was no crazy smell coming out of the packaging. It is lightweight, and after trying it - if you wanted to layer another lightweight blanket on top, you might be able to get away with it because we were thoroughly cooled (to the point we were able to shut off the louder of the two fans). It's a smooth fabric that works for what it's marketed as. We don't really care about the color of it, but the gray tie-dye is a nice pop in our mostly neutral decor. I purchased a king size even though we sleep on a queen (we both like to bunch up our blankets at times and sizing up is a habit) and this THOROUGHLY covers us and the entire rest of the bed comfortably.

This lightweight nylon blanket feels smooth and noticeably cool when first placed over you, which helps during the first 20 minutes of falling asleep. It is thin without feeling flimsy and stretches decently. the gray appearance looks clean, and the queen size provides plenty of coverage. The cooling effect gradually fades as it absorbs body heat, so it will not stay ice-cold all night, but it still creates a comfortable balance between cozy and overly warm.

This blanket is hands-down, not only my favorite, but also my husband‘s the silkiness and the light weakness of the blanket. It’s always stays cold! As someone with parts who has zero temperature control of my body this blanket was a heaven sent. It helps me stay cool while also not making me too cold. Washing for me is a little bit of a pain as someone with a chronic illness due to having to hang it not being able to dry it, but if you’re someone who doesn’t have that problem, it’s so easy to just throw in the washer and then hang up after. My best advice is to size up from the size of your bed because it does bunch at times and move if you’re a sleeper who moves a lot.

Let's cut to the chase, does this thing do the job? Honestly, its ok, I guess? Considering that you still need to have something like a fan running to keep this thing "cool" as it won't offer anything if you aren't offering a source to keep it cool. It is however quite comfortable and soft which is nice. The material doesn't seem particularly cheap and seems like it will hold up. I bought this to replace the old one I had been using as I am someone who runs hot when sleeping and this didn't have the "frequently returned item" marker found on similar products. The price was also not as expensive as the others which made me choose this over the others. I am satisfied with my purchase, but I don't know if I'd recommend to others.

Our A/C went out peak summer so I bought these with minimal hopes, but they really worked surprisingly well! My husband and I both "need" blankets on to sleep so I ordered these and they really work! I will say after a bit, they adjust to your body temp and don't feel as cool but if I shuffle it around, it cools back down. It's pretty soft, lightweight and the sizing works very well (we ordered two queens). Definitely would recommend!

It is definitely a cooling blanket! We loved it, it was a relief in the humid summer heat. Very lightweight, so if you like a blanket with a little bit of weight to it-- I wouldn't recommend it. It may be just me, but I was misled by the picture. I thought it had a velvet-y texture on one side, but it's a tye-dye pattern and is more like swimsuit material. So that's the only reason why I gave it 4 stars, otherwise it gave us what we needed--a cool night's sleep!
