Russell Athletic Men's Dri Power Fleece Open Bottom Sweatpants with Pockets, Relaxed Fit, Moisture Wicking

I love them. I prefer the baggy look and feel so I went 2 sizes up and they fit, feel and look amazing. The length is a long, but that is because i sized up a good amount, so if you get your true size the length will be great, just not super baggy, it’ll be more of a relaxed fit. Good material, it’s super soft. Waist band is comfortable and fits perfectly, and there is a drawstring! The pocket openings are kinda small so my phone tends to get a little stuck when I try to take it out, but that isn’t a super big thing I don’t really mind it. The pockets themselves are spacious and can hold my keys, wallet, etc. They are kinda heavy which i like. For the value, they are amazing. I wash them on cold and either air dry or quick dry on cold and they don’t shrink or anything! Very fashionable. Would recommend.

These are very comfortable, fit me well and are warm. I like them because they run a little bit long. At 6'1' I needed something just a little longer than you typically get with size 2x. They are stretchy and great for walking, jogging, working out or just lounging around the house.

I am 6ft tall and weigh 185 lbs. I ordered the XL size, and I am mostly pleased with these pants. I say mostly because I like the weight of the material and the overall fit, however they are longer than I expected. It said in the description the inseam for the XL size was 33" which is a little long for me since my inseam is 32" but I would rather have them too long than too short because I can always shorten them, which I intend on doing. The actual inseam on the pair of XL pants I received was 34", almost 35". The overall fit is just fine, IF there is no shrinkage whatsoever. If you have big thighs or big behind, they will probably fit too tight. In this case I would order a size up from what you would normally wear. I will definitely take care when washing these, i.e., cold water and hang dry since I cannot afford to have them shrink at all. The elastic waist is a little snug on the XL for me. My actual waist size is 38" so I thought it would be alright ordering the XL since the description says it fits 40" to 42". It does fit me, however, as i said, it is a tight fit. The waist cord is rather useless since it is simply one large connected "loop" which does not allow for snugging up the pants, but again, the elastic waist works (even if it is a little snug). Overall, I like these pants for the price. Taking everything mentioned above into account, I will probably order two more pairs, but this time I will order the XXL so the waist does not fit quite so snugly. The length will probably be even longer but I will simply have to shorten them--no big deal.

I’ve been really happy with these sweatpants. The fit is exactly what I was looking for, and the gray color looks great. They’re comfortable enough for the gym but also look good enough to wear out. I like them so much that I’m planning to get a pair in black as well.

I’m a 5’9” female with extremely long legs and it is always near impossible to find sweatpants that fit me. They are always too short. These are the comfiest, longest sweatpants I have ever found. There is so much length at the bottom, they actually slightly drag on the floor but that’s how I like it. And as mentioned, they are super comfy. Very soft. I normally buy Gymshark or Nike for sweatpants and these are cheap yet still contend.

These are ok, but not great. The material is medium weight and comfortable. I’m 6’1” and 200 lbs and the large were ridiculously long. The hem was under my heels without shoes on and I could tell I’d be stepping on them even with shoes on. The waist was also enormous (I’m an 36) and as others have mentioned, the drawstring is weak and will break if you pull on it enough to try and make it useful. I sized down to a medium and they are a much better fit, but are now a hair shorter than I’d like. I have to were them low on waist to get a proper full break over my shoes. Point is, the size jump between M and L is too much. The waist is a good fit and I replaced the drawstring with a proper two ended one (extra $6 for a set from Amazon) after the original immediately broke. End result is a comfy pair of lounge sweats that look ok.

I bought the sweatpants as a gift. The person loved the sweatpants said they was very comfortable and a nice fit, lightweight. The waistband fit very well and it was a good value for the money I will purchase again.

I waited almost a year to post this review to see if my initial conclusion was correct. Essentially it was. The bottom line is the Polo Ralph Lauren French Rib pants fit and feel the best of any pants. Unfortunately, they’re expensive and not available on Amazon. However, there are some pairs available on auction sites for reasonable prices. The next best is between the U.S. Polo Assn. Men's Fleece Cargo Pant and the Champion Men's Champion Eco Open Bottom Pant. The problem with the U.S. Polo Assn. Men's Fleece Cargo is that they pill a lot and because they’re made of nylon they don’t breathe well if at all. The problem with the Champion is they’re a bit long, a bit baggy and the waist is a bit big. The rest of them aren’t even worth trying. I’m looking forward to some affordable, high quality, great fitting sweat pants. Unfortunately, they don’t exist at the moment. Interesting note, I initially bought all the pants in size large, but they all seemed to fit a bit too tight not only in the waist but throughout the whole let as well. I like my sweatpants loose fitting so I reordered them all in XL and made my conclusions based on that. Polo Ralph Lauren French Rib They are 100% cotton, which is extremely hard to find. They may be the heaviest of all the pants (not necessarily good or bad), the most naturally soft (cotton soft compared to nylon “fleece” soft), and the best fit (loose, but not too loose, definitely not tight) throughout the waist and legs, and a good length (long enough that you may walk on the back of them when you’re not wearing shoes). The inseam is very low however. That is the one thing I would change. I’d raise the inseam up by 2 inches. U.S. Polo Assn. Men's Fleece Cargo Pant Nice fitting pants, but they’re 100% nylon “fleece” which have pilled horribly over a year and static cling often. Also, nylon pants don’t breathe well and cause an uncomfortable and unnecessary sweat. U.S. Polo Assn. Men's Classic Fleece Pant, Dark Grey Heather, Large NOT AFFILIATED WITH POLO RALPH LAUREN CORP. U.S. Polo Assn. Men's Classic Fleece Pant Compared to the cargo version of these they fit much tighter. Champion Men's Champion Eco Open Bottom Pant, Oxford Gray, Large Champion Men's Champion Eco Open Bottom Pant A bit too long and a bit too loose in the waist. Champion Men's Champion Eco Relaxed Band Pant, Oxford Gray, Large Champion Men's Champion Eco Relaxed Band Pant Tighter than the open bottom version and I dislike the band at the bottom of the leg. Jerzees 974MP 8 oz. 50/50 Open Bottom Fleece Pant-Large-Oxford NuBlend Open Bottom Sweatpant with Pocket I kept these. They are a nice loose fit, but the material hasn’t held up as well as the Champion. In fact, I kept them because they were so light. The size large fits like an XL compared to all the other pants. I rarely wear these because they’re so light. Russell Athletic Men's Heavyweight Fleece Open-Bottom Pant - CD1 - L Russell Athletic Men's Heavyweight Fleece Open-Bottom Pant The waist band of even the XXL is unbelievable tight. This must be a design flaw. It’s unfortunate too because the material was nice and heavy. The inseam is higher up as well. Also, it’s an odd feeling material that I don’t care for. Fruit of the Loom 8 oz 50/50 Adult Open Bottom Sweatpants in Athletic Heather – Large Fruit of the Loom 51300R 50/50 Fleece Pant with Mesh Pockets These also fit tight compared to the others. The pockets were oddly short. In person you can tell they’re low quality.

These are very comfortable, well made pants. I chose them for my daily 2 mile walk in cool to cold weather. They are a trifle long. I have a 32” inseam. I ordered XL. The waist is fine at about 38”-40”. They’d likely fit up to a 34” inseam. They are loose enough to let me wear a wicking polyester under layer in cold weather.

My husband loves these pants. Very soft material, comfortable fit, washes well. Great value
