Thank you for your question! Please be assured that upon receipt into Yogi's facility, all botanical ingredients used in their teas are tested for synthetic pesticides. The testing is performed by an independent analytical lab to ensure product quality, purity, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Yogi follows the USDA’s National Organic Program (NOP) for all of their ingredients and teas, and their facility is Organically Certified by an independent, third party auditor and organic certifier, Quality Assurance International (QAI).

Q: how many times do you soak it to the hot water?

One time - Bring water to just boiling and steep 3 minutes. For a stronger tea, use 2 tea bags.

Q: Can i use this to brew my own kombucha? i make the scoby at home with black tea. can i use this instead?
