I really like this Molcajete. When I ordered it, I had second thoughts of it being too big (or too small). I wanted it for grinding my own spices. The one my mother had was way too big, but she used it for grinding corn and a large amount of peppers. It's nice and heavy that it stay's put on the counter or table when I'm grinding spices. It's not too heavy for me to put in the sink and wash. It also looks very stylish on the kitchen counter. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that grinds their own peppers and spices but doesn't have the room to store a full-size molcajete.

I originally purchased this to crush pills. It is heavier then I expected. Very nice and I’m very happy with it. Packaged well and I received it in the time frame promised.

Works great. The unpolished finish causes alot of cross contamination if you are crushing different items. ( Such as tumeric)
