Does this have leaves or is it a powder? Since matcha is normally a powder and kukicha twigs.

If I purchase this, will I get barley tea or green tea? The photos are for barley tea but the reviews are for green tea.

They put all reviews for the same company together. Under the review title you can see which product the review refers to. I have purchased Sencha and Hojicha from them and I got Sencha and Hojicha as described, not green tea. If you order this one you'll get this one. :)

Is this basically black tea?

Thank you for your inquiry. Hojicha is a kind of Japanese green tea. Hojicha is roasted after the leaves are steamed. Satisfying and soothing

Love it. I bought this for the low caffeine and low acid or being more alkaline than black tea. It's very tasty and soothing. Love the nutty and woody flavors. Very satisfying. A keeper as I manage LPR.

Since we tried it at Japan House in London, we always have it for our breakfast

Amazing product my son love it! The taste is unbelievable! The first time we tried it at Japan House in London ( a famous Japanese Restaurant) and since then we have it every morning with our breakfast its a very light tea not heavy to drink in the morning We usually matching with our salted breakfast. Amazing product! I wish they'll sell a big packet options.
