Heel Tip Replacement Cap & Wrap (1 Pair)

product is fine, however it took me THREE tries to get the right size - the size chart shown is way off. It shows the large as being about 3/4 the size of a dime, they're in fact almost the size of a nickel. get a medium for standard heel, small for sharp stiletto...and I've never even seen heels that the large would fit. that aside, they were wonderful about returns and replacements and the product was easy to apply to my shoe once i finally got the right size.

This is a GREAT product for fixing a broken heel. I'd been meaning to take my favorite black leather pumps in to the shoe guy but hadn't had a chance to get to him during his business hours. Saw this and thought I'd give it a try. The band that you wrap the heel with is kinda sticky, you let part of it hang out, tap the plastic heel into place and then continue to wrap the sticky gel tape around to cover. I've worn them several times now and it hasn't come off yet. It is slightly visible so if you are very particular and wouldn't like the repair to be noticed then this might not be for you but it is not visible enough to see unless someone got right up next to your heel. It worked awesome for me!

I got these tips because I couldn't seem to repair my beloved heels by pulling out the screws from the previously worn-down tips. This was exactly what I was looking for. If you're looking for something that could be a quick fix, and you CAN'T replace the tips with the tips that you can screw in, this is a good option.I got the small and it fit the heels that I didn't previously think were that skinny (simple 3 1/2-inch pumps), but if I got a size bigger (medium) they would be far too big. I'm 23 and I usually buy heels for going out that are in the 3 1/2"-4 1/2" range and I feel like these tips would probably fit most pairs of heels that I have. Up close, you can see that these have been repaired with a product that didn't originally go with the heels, but no one gets THAT close to my shoes. They look totally fine from afar.I tried them on with the new tips and they feel good. I haven't worn them out so I'm not sure if they'll hold up but I'm hoping they will!UPDATE 1/6: I have worn these heels out a few times since repairing them (3 times maybe) with these suckers and they have held up, BUT I realized that one of the caps fell off. I was bummed about this, but I figure with regular wear and tear, this is bound to happen. I just ordered another pair of these caps, but I do wish the pack of 2 was a pack of 3 so that you don't have to order a new kit if you lose one tip. The other heel tip is still going strong, and to my surprise the plastic hasn't worn down much at all after a few nights on the town with lots of walking. With my next repair job I'm going to try to use a couple dabs of super glue to prevent this from happening again. The tape is strong and it hasn't frayed or peeled off yet, but I'm not sure if it's strong enough to combat the forces of brick sidewalks or cracks in concrete that may rip the tip off. Hopefully the super glue will add enough reinforcement.Still, this product saved my favorite heels and I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't have been able to wear them at all if it wasn't for these. If I were basing my review on the idea alone, it would get five stars. The execution/long term wear of these get four stars, though.

Maybe the black would be better but the nude color looks terrible and was impossible to get the tape to wrap neatly around the replacement heel. I was hoping it would look decreet but stuck out like a sore thumb. Also the first day with replacements they both fell off even though a size smaller wouldn't fit on my heel. I finally broke down and bought new shoes.

Received it in the mail but it's not what I expected, none of my shoes fit in this tip. It's quiet small tip. Kind of sad, waste money!

After reviewing some of the other reviews I was a bit nervous that it would not work out. I have a pair of round toe heels that I absolutely love and would hate to part ways. However I wore them so much that the heel was worn down. I initially saw this product on a YouTube video and went on Amazon to order a pair. It is a great price easy to install I used the cheat sheet to determine which size to buy for my heel which the company use a dime and based on where the heel lined up determined the size you need. I wore the heels over 20 times since installation everywhere and at time all day at work. I would buy again

These are the best invention ever. This was soooooo easy to do and super fast. I had one shoe done in like 30 seconds. You just start the wrap, put on the cap and then wrap the rest of the way really tightly. I love how the wrap self adheres but is not sticky to the touch. Everything fits perfectly and blends well. You have saved my favorite pair of shoes!!

The tips were too large and came off after about 2 mins of walking :(I will try small tips, but so far I am not impressed. The tape was flimsy and didn't stick very well.
