A Handy Backup Charger For A Small Emergency
This emergency charger is the kind of item that feels useful to keep in a bag, car console, or travel pouch. I tested one with a USB C phone, and the connection fit cleanly without needing an extra cable. That is the main appeal here. It is small, simple, and made for those moments when a phone is low and there is no outlet or power bank nearby. The charger feels lightweight and compact in the hand. It is not meant to replace a regular rechargeable power bank, and it does not feel like that kind of product. It is more of a backup option for one situation where you just need some extra phone power. I liked that there were no buttons or settings to figure out. I plugged it in and the phone recognized it, which is what I wanted to see. The USB C tip felt secure enough while connected. I would not leave it hanging from the phone while walking around carelessly, because any direct plug in charger can put pressure on the port if bumped. Sitting at a desk or keeping the phone in one spot while it charges makes more sense. During my test, it stayed connected and did not wiggle in a way that made me nervous. This feels most useful for emergencies rather than regular charging. The single use idea is different from a normal battery pack, so I see it as something for travel, events, storm kits, glove boxes, or days when you do not want to carry a larger charger. It is also nice that the set includes more than one, because you can place them in different spots instead of depending on one. The build is basic, but that fits the purpose. The outside is simple and easy to understand. I did not have to read a complicated manual or guess how to make it work. It is the kind of charger I would want to hand to someone with a nearly dead phone because there is nothing confusing about it. The downside is that it creates waste compared with a rechargeable power bank. That is worth thinking about. I would not use these for normal charging when an outlet or reusable battery is available. For a true low battery problem, though, it is convenient. The one I tested worked with my USB C phone and gave me enough confidence that the others are worth keeping in places where a dead phone would be a real hassle.

Slow to charge
Overall awesome, but it does take a while to charge my phone. I'll be holding onto these though in case there's an emergency and I need to charge my phone.

Good to have in an emergency!
The Boostrcharge Single-Use Emergency Charger is a compact, pre-charged power solution designed for critical moments when a regular charger is unavailable. ## Key Features & Performance * Charging Capacity: It features a 2200 mAh lithium-ion battery, which can provide up to a 50% charge for most smartphones. * Shelf Life: Designed for long-term emergency readiness, it holds its charge for up to 2 years while sitting in a drawer or glove box. * Certifications: The product is UL and FCC certified, ensuring it can charge your device safely without damaging the battery. * Travel Ready: It is TSA-approved and lightweight, making it suitable for carry-on luggage or survival kits. ## Usage Instructions * Instant Power: There is no need to pre-charge the unit; it is ready to use immediately out of the packaging. * Operation: Simply plug the built-in USB-C connector directly into your device. You can continue to use your phone safely while it is charging. * Single Device: Each unit is intended for a single use on one device. ## Environmental Impact & Disposal While convenient, these are single-use products and must be handled responsibly after depletion: * Do Not Trash: Because they contain lithium batteries, they should never be thrown into regular household trash or standard recycling bins as they can pose a fire hazard. [11, 12] * Recycling: They are 100% recyclable but must be taken to a dedicated battery or e-waste recycling center. Many major retailers like The Home Depot or Lowe's (both of which you have frequented for home projects) accept these for safe disposal.

Perfect 'just in case' charger - Small enough to keep anywhere.
These little emergency chargers are a great thing to keep on hand just in case. I'm usually pretty good about keeping my phone charged, but you never know when you'll end up out longer than expected or forget to charge your phone before leaving the house. I tested one of the chargers as soon as I received them to make sure they actually worked, and it charged my Android phone without any issues. I left it connected for a few minutes and saw my battery percentage increase, so I feel confident that these will do exactly what they're supposed to do in an emergency. One thing to note is that I had to remove my phone case before using it. I have a thicker case, and the charging connector wasn't quite long enough to fully connect with the case still on. Once I removed the case, it worked perfectly. The charger is very simple to use. Just press the power button and the indicator light turns blue so you know it's on and working. I also really like how compact these are. They're small enough to toss into a purse, backpack, glove compartment, travel bag, or even a pocket without taking up much room. They're exactly the kind of item you hope you never need, but you'll be glad to have if your battery suddenly dies. Honestly, my husband will probably end up needing these before I do since he somehow manages to run his phone battery down all the time. Meanwhile, they'll be sitting in my bag waiting for the day I forget to charge my phone. These are compact, easy to use, and provide a nice bit of peace of mind when you're away from a charger. I'd definitely recommend keeping a few around for emergencies.
