Its definitely enough for two people. I use it to play electronic drums along with music tracks and it works well. Tv would probably require less volume and be equally acceptable.

Does the mackie hm-4 come with a 1/4" to 1/4" tsr cable in addition to the included 12v power supply?

Hi, no it comes with HM-4 and the 12 VDC Power Supply, that's all,. Typically manufacturers don't give cables like that since it adds to the cost for them, and many people already have tons of cables. Please let us know if you have any other questions, thank you

No, it is one input only, it's not designed (nor will it work) in the opposite direction

do the mackie hm-400 bass, treble and balance pots have a detent?

I dint know. I obliterated have the 4-user version, which does not have any sort of adjustment aside from volume... and there's is no detente.
