5 QT Stainless Steel Steamer Basket for Pot, Universal Insert

I bought this amazing steamer that was well worth the money!!! The quality of the product is great!!! The material holds up to steaming for a long time and cleans up well. I love the versatility that is available with this product. I am very impressed with how it looks as well. The material is durable yet lightweight. The handles are perfect and works well when you are panning off your products. I would recommend this for an avid steamer. The products that I cook in this product comes out perfect every time!!!

I love this steamer! At 9.3 QT capacity (5.5 QT steamer & 3.8 QT pot) It's so easy to use too! The diameter of the steamer and pot is aout nine and a half inches enabling me to steam nearly everything! Big bonus for me is that the steamer is tall enough and large enough to fit three to four jumbo artichokes! Most steamer baskets are too short to do this without having to cut the artichokes. It's not only functional but beautiful as well! The stainless steel steamer and pot is superbly finished with a bright almost mirror-like finish. It has a clear glass dome which makes it easy to check on your food as it steams. It's well made, the thickness of the steel is a bit thinner than I'm used to, but it's still very strong. The fit of the steamer top to the pot is perfect! The steamer sits down in the pot about an inch which provides an excellent seal; it's not a sloppy loose fit either, it's snug with an almost piston-like precision. The triple thick construction of the base distributes the heat evenly providing for a more steady steam. The quality of the stainless steel is excellent, I've noticed no staining whatsoever after a month's nearly daily use. I'm looking forward to many years of use with this excellent product.

Great size for steaming vegetables I’ve been really happy with this 3-quart stainless steel steamer pot. The size is perfect for steaming vegetables without taking up a ton of space on the stove. I’ve used it for broccoli, zucchini, Brussels sprouts, and sweet potatoes, and it cooks everything evenly. The stainless steel feels sturdy and well-made, and I like that the steamer insert is easy to remove when the vegetables are done. It’s also a nice size for making smaller portions rather than having to use a large pot. Cleanup has been simple, and so far it has held up well after regular use. Overall, this is a practical steamer that I’ll be using often, especially for quick vegetable sides and toddler meals.

This is a great little steamer pot. Bear in mind the three court is small, just fine size for a family of two which is what we have but if you have more family members I suggest getting one of the larger ones. The glass top is nice so as not to let the steam out. And the pan and steamer basket part are nice material, but read the instructions cuz it does say if you use a high heat it will get hot even with the silicone covered handles. I'm very happy with this purchase and I definitely do recommend if you don't want to go all out for an electric steamer.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter to steam vegetables for her family. She had previously purchased a steamer that sat on the counter and plugged in. It was large, had several components, was awkward and difficult to clean after each use. This Sunhouse steamer claimed to be usable on most any sized pans of water on the stove top. I tried this at home before I gave it to her to see whether it was as adaptable to different pan sizes as it claimed. It was light weight, washable in the dish washer, and worked great, so I packed it with me on my next visit to the family and gifted it to her. After several months, she sent me a text message that read, “Oh, by the way, I’ve been meaning to tell you, I LOVE the steamer!” Since then, on my visits to her household, I have also used the steamer and may even purchase one for myself. It’s much lighter and easier to use than the heavy steamer set I have been using.

I really love this! All stainlesss steel so I can steam veggies or shellfish without having to worry about toxic coatings. Plus I love that if I use the bottom pot for something like rice and anything sticks, I can use steel wool or chain metal and not have to worry about creating any damage. I really like the rubber handles. I also doslike cramped kitchens so I prefer to buy multi use items like this. Works as a strainer, pot, or steamer. I bought this for my daughter because I love to steam food and she didn’t have one while visiting. Now I need to buy one for home because it’s over than the one I have.

Love the design, the handles, the glass top. OK for steaming veggies or cooking pasta, however, when I use it to make soups or sauces they end up with a metallic taste. Had to buy another pot for cooking soups and sauces.

What a great little steamer pot! I was not expecting much but was I ever pleased. The pot looks nice, is made very sturdy and of nice material, you really will not get any better at this price point, in fact I don't think you could get better at double the price. As someone who worked in the culinary industry for 2 decades I will say this is a great little pot for any home kitchen. I highly recommend this Sunhouse steamer pot! Excellent purchase!

For large pots, good capacity, steamer lid fits other pans which was a bonus
