Very clear and well made mic. I am loving it.

Worked great! Used it at Texas Motor speedway for Moper Heaven! Clipped the magnetic piece and mic on my license plate along with the wind piece. It worked great. Got up to about 130 and you can hear nothing but v8 Hemi greatness!! Wind noise was very minimal. Also did some content talking with event goers and the sound is super clear and crisp!! The travel pouch is super small and compact so you can take it anywhere! Works and pairs seamlessly with the insta360 x5.

Sound quality is amazing. I love the feature that I can start and stop recording from the microphone from very far away. Must have for insta360 cameras.

I have owned both the x2 and the x3 . The step up was a games changer. But moving into X4 has been next level. When I can afford to go X5 I will but when it comes to microphones. I have gone through a bunch of them. One i was using was from a drone company but I had to tape it on and sometimes the colors would surpasss the invisible fold. But these, work with x4 air wirelessly and without a receiver even with the 360. It just hooks Bluetooth. I got the one with the receiver which is good for it can be used with other devices. I love the magnetic back and it seems strong as long as the fabric is too thick. Easy to set up and I have the 360 gimbal base as well. All making my videos to come out that much better. The only thing is, I like the x4 air, but most things are not comparable between that and the regular x4. Accessories are not as abundant on Amazon and getting a charger is more difficult. So far though, I love the camera and it’s the best yet and the microphone is just in genius!!

I actually purchased this Insta360 Mic Air to primarily use with my Insta360 Ace Pro, however, it is not compatible with this camera, and unfortunately I wasn't aware of that. I do have an Insta360 X5 which it is compatible with, and it does work just fine with it. Once out of the box, I did have to read the instructions first in reference to bluetooth pairing without the receiver (RX) as the process wasn't actually straight forward for me. I have an Insta360 Ace Pro and not the Insta360 Ace Pro 2, so hopefully, a future firmware update down the road will make it available for use with my Insta360 Ace Pro. Who knows?

Mic works as advertised. The setup with x5 was easy. However i could not pair with the x2. The clips that come with it work well and seem well make. I clip the mic to my shirt while riding with wind guard, and i do get some wind but 100x better than the camera mic alone. Battery life is adequate for my needs because i have yet to run out as a recreational filmographer only doing a couple hours at a time.

Not compatible with Insta 360 Go Ultra camera WITHOUT the USBC plugged in! This defeats the purpose of being able to use it with my iPhone 17 Pro Max when I want and use just the transmitter paired with the Insta 360 Go Ultra. I had to order just the Insta Air Mic in order to "not have to" plug in a USBC. I like a Minimalist setup and don't like things dangling or sticking out, so again, having to insert the USBC into the Insta360 Go Ultra camera defeats the versatility I wanted this for. I use my iPhone 17 Pro Max to record my podcast and quick YouTube Shorts so that's why I was HOPING for versatility so I can use just ONE transmitter microphone with both my YouTube channel filming cameras. RETURNED BACK TO AMAZON.

I purchased this after seeing someone use it on TikTok & review it. I record movement videos in a location that has a fair amount of traffic noise & the noise reduction is quite good. I have a less expensive set of mics but the quality isn’t as good as this one. I feel price is good & the use time is quite good, even after 3+ hours of use. I like the small round size, it includes multiple options to attach/wear, a windscreen option & a nice little case to store it all. It does require a special charging cable that’s included. I also use this out on my beach walks & the sound quality of the water, birds etc is really good, even while talking.

J’ai récemment acheté le Insta360 Mic Air (1 TX + 1 RX) et je suis très satisfait de cet achat. 👉 Points forts : • Transmission sans fil fluide jusqu’à 200/220 m — je n’ai constaté aucune coupure lors de prises de vue en extérieur, même à distance. • Réduction de bruit efficace — le son enregistré est clair, net et professionnel, même dans des environnements un peu bruyants. • Polyvalent — compatible USB-C, donc parfait avec mon iPhone 17 pro Max. La connexion s’établit rapidement et reste stable. • Très simple d’utilisation — le kit TX + RX s’appaire en quelques secondes, et l’autonomie est solide pour plusieurs sessions d'utilisation. 👉 Petit bémol : • Un étui de transport plus rigide aurait été un plus, car les petits composants sont délicats à ranger, mais rien de rédhibitoire. Un étui rigide se trouve assez facilement sur Amazon. 💡 Conclusion : C’est un micro sans fil fiable, clair et facile à utiliser, parfait pour les vloggers, créateurs de contenu, live streamers ou interviews mobiles. I have Insta 360 X5, I had trouble pairing. Amazon customer care and product support is of no use. However, I was able to pair it with support from YouTube. It is an excellent product. The Voice quality is excellent
