IronWolf Pro

Top tier enterprise class HDD
Bought from HYPER-MEGA (and shipped from HYPER-MEGA) Been using the Seagate EXOS drives for years now in my video production server and had little to complain about so cycling my next drive now with an X20 20TB bought and shipped form Hyper-Mega in Guelph, ON. Drive was properly packaged and promptly shipped (though Purolator sucks and sent the drive on a tour of Canada before making a signature-required delivery attempt a week late). Critically the drive has a proper 5-year Canadian warranty from Seagate and even the most recent firmware. Running it hard through parity calculations and writes now as part of my pre-fail testing, but expect no issues. One happy customer here! One thing of note because people seem to expect otherwise, these are enterprise-class HDDs and are noticeably much louder than consumer disks. EXPECT audible seek noises even from across the room!

So far, so good
Got the order quicker than expected and arrived without an issue. I've been a big user of this brand of hard drive, so I'm not expecting any issues with it. Literally zero complaints overall.
