The key blank is sturdy and reasonably good quality in terms of appearance. It's a different type of blank than the kind they have in key-replicating machines or at my local hardware store, but I looked into the codes and this one does work for standard door locks -- I confirmed by getting it cut. Overall, a good item for someone who would like to insert a tiny sword to lock or unlock a door.

Very cool key, but it can't be cut by everyone. Most locksmiths won't do it.

This key was easy to modify to fit our locks. We really enjoy using it when we need to. Sturdy material and looks great on the key ring!

It's a little longer and wider (due to hilt) than a regular key, but it's still pretty sturdy and looks bada** on a keychain.

I really want a fun key that doesn’t have cheesy painted designs but something actually forged and real like old skeleton keys from the past. Not and actual skeleton or even this sword just and old fashioned key that can operate like a new key does. This one looks like it will break immediately and I so regret buying it. I am not going to use it because why risk breaking a lock. I wanted something that doesn’t exist and thought I could make this work.

I really liked this key, while it lasted. I've had it for 3 and 1/2 years and it finally broke in my pocket. Now it has been through a lot, so I cant really complain. The shape takes a little getting used to (can be quite "pokey" in the legs) and it doesn't lay flat like the rest of the keys on my ring. I work in construction so I move around a lot, crawling, climbing, bending down repeatedly, and it must have gotten turned just right and snapped. The only real downside I had was getting it cut initially. None of the big box stores would cut it and I had to go to a locksmith.

This sword is wonderful. It is hefty, and the level of detail is amazing. I would love if it came in chrome in the future, mayhaps? I also slightly wish it didn't have the text on it or for the guard to be a bit more narrow (in case anyone out there is listening). Also, my local Home Depot was not able to cut it, so I ended up manually making a copy of my key with a small file. It looks real cute stuck out of the lock every day.

I wish they made longer sizes! I need a 95 SC of this. It’s too short for my work key. I just like staying protected away from home, ready to slay whatever beasts come my way. But no, I have regular keys...

Bought 4 for the family Christmas 2019. Mine broke after a couple months, the others died over the next year. Last one - rarely used - broke today. Who makes breakable keys?! Trash.
